We wanted to try dim sum at a different restaurant and took a chance on Full House despite their mixed reviews. We weren't disappointed but also not excited by their offerings. I found their menu smaller than others in the area, so it was missing favorites such as Woo Kwok(fried taro dumpling) and Pheonix buns. That being said, the food was very tasty without being salty. The sui mai was loaded with shrimp and the Cheung fun had a perfect texture. The chicken feet were delicious!!

Are you looking for a hot and fresh dim sum without breaking the bank? Then give this place a try. You won't be spoiled with opulence and high-end decor. This restaurant looks tired and dated. But the most important part is the food.We were looking for a new dim sum restaurant in the Scarborough area and came across this bustling plaza at Midland Ave and Finch Ave E. The parking lot is pretty full however there is parking in the rear as well. The dim sum we ordered were the following:1. Siu Mai- steamed shrimp and pork dumpling with fish roe on top2. Fried meat dumpling Ham Sui Gok"3. Fried beancurd and egg plant with fish cake4. Plain congee with bread stick5. Beef brisket and tendon egg noodle soup $7.99The dim sum are ordered from a menu card

Full House feels more old school than some newer sim sim places that draw larger crowds. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The wait was nowhere near as bad as other places and they don’t spend too much in the aesthetics, which allows them to spend more resources on the food. There’s a good variety of many different type of items and everything we tried was delicious. We particularly liked the particularly liked the beef rice noodle, siu mai and the lo mai gai.

I liked the chicken feet with black beans. Still nothing beats our most fave Chinese restaurant. Foods we ordered were just ok. Accepts only debit and cash.

My family and I have been coming to Full House Chinese Cuisine for their dim sum for years. The quality of food is consistently great and staff are friendly. Food comes out quickly. One of our favourite dishes is the fried sticky rice (生炒糯米飯).

We are recommended by our friends that 炳勝is good, economical and has traditional dim sum.On this Sunday we bring parents to 炳勝, 4 of us arrive the restaurant at 1:15pm and the small entrance area is packed with people waiting. After waiting for ~20minutes we are seated at a round table at the corner. The dim sum price as below: All normal dim sum are $4.68 for weekend 9am to 4pm while $4.48 for weekdays. Special ones are $5.68 for weekend and $5.48 for weekdays. There are 49 normal dim sum and 10 special ones, the choice and variety of dim sum is not as plenty as other dim sum restaurants but I think they are sufficient. We order 5 dim sum and 1 Yeung chow fried rice. The dim sum quality and taste is average, made in traditional ways but not really my cup of tea. For example, the skin of shrimp dumplings 蝦餃, deep fried dough 炸兩and plain roll 白腸粉is thick and in different texture compare to those Hong King style. 豬膶燒賣is a rare dish and good to try. The fried rice is good but too little bbq pork. Overall the food is good but not very delicious because traditional dim sum is just like this!

Really nice place for authentic Cantonese cuisine, the flavour and portion are 5 out of 5, while service is a bit slow, you need to wait a bit between dishes, like you are at a French restaurant. But overall, I will definitely to go back and try other dishes!

We came here for dim sum on a weekend, it was pretty cheap compared to other dim sum restaurants in Toronto, I think our bill ended up at around 30-40cad incl taxes and tip for 5 dishes of dim sum.Unfortunately, I rated this place a 3star as I feel the dim sum quality was lacking. I have previously lived in Hong Kong for 10 years and just came to Toronto so I'm not sure if the standards are unfair to compare to local dim sum in HK, but here is my review of each dish:The Cheong fun was very soft almost mushy and not silky as it should be. The texture of this Cheong fun was interesting... Kind of reminds you of the microwave Cheong fun that comes in packets. The har gow skin is also soft, broke easily with a chopstick poke, not like a fresh har gow skin that is usually translucent and have chewy texture. And the prawn inside is a lot smaller. The pan fried dumpling filling tasted dry, not juicy like it should be.The Sui mai normally has some prawn mixed in it in HK and this one didn't so it tastes a bit different from the normal Sui Mai we eat. Also the skin is very soft as well.. didn't seem fresh. The fried squid we ate was very salty, rubbery (overcooked) and the quantity was a lot less.Overall, I wasn't impressed as I heard that dim sum in Toronto is actually better quality than HK, but I may need to try other places here. Also to note, the menu is a lot more limited, and we did not try their noodles and rice dishes but I saw a lot of locals order them and they may be better quality than the dim sum. I think the only thing going for this place for dim sum is that the price is reasonable for Toronto. I suspect the dim sum here are not made fresh and that's why they all taste a bit funny and sub par and taste similar to microwave dim sum from frozen packets, but if they are making it fresh then they need better dim sum chefs!

Food is so delicious, great flavour and spicy. Awesome northern Chinese food, but sometimes too oily. Nice restaurant inside- I really like the murals.
