Authentic Taekwondo

When I started practicing Taekwondo, I needed to exercise myself to lose weight. I was weighting 115Kg/255lb and wanted to get healthier.Master Farah and his team were incredibly welcoming. They helped me improve my resistance and gradually my weight dropped. In 9 months I burned 18kg/40lb and it's still dropping.My daughter joined the Children class and loves it! And now I have way more energy to do anything.The Dojang is amazing! I highly recommend it, despite age and weight.

I've been part of Master Farah's classes several times. His authenticity, passion for development of his students and technical expertise shine through every time. My children started at Authentic Taekwondo in October of 2021 and we have been very impressed with how much are children enjoy these classes! It really has made a difference to their confidence and I really admire how well tuned Master Farah is with the children in building their self esteem and confidence, showing respect, being grateful, encouraging good mindset. Basically everything we try to teach them but coming from someone else, other then their parents, who they respect makes a big difference! A very flexible schedule with easy sign up makes a big difference in our ever changing landscape. We were also very impressed with the virtual lessons and how they are run to be very inclusive whether you are at home or in the studio. In terms of technique, we see our children improving their skills with every class and they always look forward to the next color belt tests!! Our son has been a student at Authentic Taekwondo for about 3 months now, and he has made great strides since joining thanks to Master Farah and the other leaders there! He enjoys going to classes and practicing at home. It's been a great way for him to stay physically active, and Master Farah also does a good job of helping the kids build their confidence, as well as learn other valuable life skills (respect, discipline, patience, etc.) We appreciate that Master Farah is firm but also kind, which is a good approach for teaching younger kids like our son. The flexibility of online booking of classes, as well as the variety of days and times available also makes it convenient and easier for our schedule.

My wife and I signed up our 3 year old son for Taekwondo. Our goal was for him to participate, have fun and learn as much as he can. We were amazed and impressed with the life skills being taught through Taekwondo: listening; following instructions; waiting your turn; sharing space and working with others; having control of their mind, body and emotions, working towards goals, practicing and working hard to earn their belts and most importantly, having fun!Authentic Taekwondo provided a warm and inviting environment, the attention and care Master Farah and his leaders provide to the students, especially younger students is what makes them stand out.My son was very shy the first class and wanted to go home. We sat and watched the rest of the class and came back early the next day to watch the earlier class to get warmed up. Class ended, Master Farah was on break before my son's class starts. Master Farah used his break time to sit with my son, have a one to one chat and from that conversation onwards, my son became a big fan of Master Farah and participated in every class after. He was so happy to get his first belt because he earned it.Thank you Authentic Taekwondo for teaching more than steps and movement, they are teaching life skills to people of all ages. The best training center in Toronto! Since I attended to Authentic Taekwondo I feel happier and stronger. The Masters and Instructors and also students are amazing they are thoughtful, humble, patient and kind. I absolutely loved training Kick boxing and Taekwondo in this amazing academy.I highly recommend this place specially for people wants to lose weight and who are injured and think their world is over, the amazing masters will help you to take back your health and strength.

Authentic taekwondo is a fun place...never too old to start, too young to be a leader, too weak to spar nor too boring to repeat the same drills. If you preserve through all the challenges you would love this place, to make it to the end there's always more to learn. A quote in our dojo says A black belt is a white belt who refused to quit "Team spirit is inherited from highest belt to beginner. You learn then you teach each other in the same place. We become friends then family in this club. We both working hard on the journey to black belt and beyond. The most important is we have a great master

I've tried getting my kids to be active and engaged in different activities. They've done hockey, baseball, volleyball, soccer, biking, skiing, snowboarding, and on and on. Nothing really stuck with them though. I admit, a lot of it is likely their own personality and character. But I firmly believe that Master Farah and the instructors at Authentic TKD are a big reason why my kids are really into TKD.My kids have been going to Authentic for almost a year and a half. In the beginning, they were only mildly interested in trying, while also slightly apprehensive at the thought of doing a martial art. Since then, both my kids have gained so much confidence in themselves while also getting stronger physically. Master Farrah encourages all the kids so much, showing tough love when needed. I'm especially amazed with how Master Farah remembers the names of every student with so many classes, days, and infrequent attendance. It shows how much he really cares for the students.My kids are now committed to getting their black belt and beyond. I can't wait to see how far they grow as people and TKD practitioners.Thank you Master Farah and Authentic for being a safe and amazing place for our kids to grow!

My daughter enjoyed her time at authentic taekwondo. Sadly we had to move from Markham otherwise we would have continued sending her here. Master Farah & all other teachers are very dedicated & motivating. They made my 6yr old very comfortable. She would look forward to go to class everyday!
