Good people that will help you anyway they can. It does get a little hectic at times. I think it's time to get a second location. Can't Imagine what it'll be like when all those new homes are built. Good luck...

It is unfortunate that Okotoks has only one registry agency in town. I had yet another frustrating experience at Ardiel Agencies last week when I went to renew my drivers license. I have been type 2 diabetic for 9.5 years and have renewed my license twice previously at a registry in the city , never any issue. This go round at Ardiel I was informed that I needed to produce a driver’s medical due to my being diabetic. I explained that I had not had to do this previously. I was told these are the rules and that they could only renew my license for a year and deactivated my drivers license giving me permit valid for only 30 days. They charged me $26. I scheduled an appointment with my doctor for “said” drivers medical and went back to Ardiel today (against my better judgement, but wanted to see it through). I had the same person as the week previous. I have her the doctors forms and said I told my story. She was confused as how to process, so asked the lady sitting beside her how to proceed. The lady asked me if I had provide new medical information, I answered “no” She then asked if I was on insulin or had stopped taking insulin to which I answered “no”. Then she said, “that’s strange “ and instructed the person helping out how to proceed. Then the asked me to step around back as they needed a new signature. I stated that I had a new picture and signature done last week when I was there? The person stated that “this is the process “ she also advised that when I get my driver’s license that she renewed last week to cut and discard as I will get another new from the renewal I just did today. Oh and that will be $93 please. So I did ask about the $26 I paid last week and would they not prorate the fee. I was told “no”. It would seem that some of the staff are not fully trained in how to process drivers license renewals with people that may or may not require a medical. It would also seem that Ardiel is not “the friendly community, small business” that other businesses in town are. Suffice it to say….. We will not use Adriel’s services in the future and will definitely share our experience with friends and family. Driving into the city for registry services may be in convenient, but worth it in the long run.

Already rushed with the wait times, and while I understood the closing time was approaching- the agent behind the desk was helpful, but abrupt and a bit dismissive. I had to replace my birth certificate because it had been stolen and then found out it had been modified with an incorrect bithplace:( I was told to pay $45 and to watch for an email to confirm my choice between 10 days and 6 weeks- but not told from whom to expect it.

These ladies are amazing and so knowledgeable! Thank you so much for the excellent service. I will definitely be back. Even if I have to drive from Calgary. There is nothing like small town service where people actually care about their customers

Lived in Okotoks almost 25 years and every time I’ve had to deal with this registry I regret it.Save the anguish and drive to Shawnessy or anywhere in the city.Most restrictive hours around considering they’re a bedroom community.Charged a fee for debit for years (even though it’s against their accepted rules with the banks)This place is an absolute joke and they have no idea what customer service is all about

They failed my son for going too fast through a school zone. They failed him for going too slow through a school zone. All they want is YOUR money.Service is super slow too. Any agency is better than this one.

My wife and i were in last week and didn't have the proper documents with us as the car dealer hadn't presented them to us. Karen went above and beyond, contacted the dealer and had all the paper work sent directly to her. So, instead of sending us away to gather the info, Karen took care of everything on our behalf. We came here to do an address change, the staff was amazing. Very efficient and very happy and friendly.

Good service from front desk staff, very fast and conveniently to approach. But Mr.Richard failed me, I am so disappointed from comments he added,while i was so carefully and rules followup, he's like i am going too fast through a school zone. Then too slow where marked 40max. All he want is YOUR money. For road test I am not suggesting here but other Service their super good.
