Chad was referred to us to evaluate a lake property we were considering to buy. He traveled the 90 miles and blew us away with the details he provided in his report. Everything from septic system conditions to well quality and drainage concerns. His final report was extremely detailed and he answered all of our questions and provided suggestions for every aspect of the property. I would highly recommend Chad to anyone considering a new or 2nd home purchase.

If you're a new homeowner and plan to do some DIY work, go somewhere else. I had Chad and his brother come out on suggestion from my realtor. They were incredibly kind and down to earth, but very short. I wasn't asking the right questions due to my inexperience so I didn't get the value I paid for (which would be their experience, right?). Classic swindlers or don't know what their doing.Two attic locations with evidence of past thermal events not even inspected. I have 4 separate attic locations. Only 2 were in the report.Main sewer line was obviously clogged/damaged, not in the report.Multiple locations (4 so far, expecting more subfloor replacement) of rot due to leaky faucets and lines. ALL plumbing was marked as acceptable on the report. Why? This was obvious to me within the first week of learning some trade skills... So basic...Multiple ungrounded outlets and obvious signs of cracking insulation around wires (BARE WIRE) not in the report. They would've noticed that if they inspected my other attic locations, that's why we pay $500...?At the time of inspection I didn't understand the severity of these issues but I DO NOW. I wasn't supposed to come to those conclusions myself, that's why we pay these people.

Buying a house in Michigan while living in another state, realtor recommended Fisher home inspections. I am a plumbing and mechanical contractor so I called and spoke with him and told him specifically what I was looking for and what was most important to me. He did fit the inspection in for me and he did send the report immediately. That being said, the report was extremely vague and did not catch multiple deficiencies and code violations on the house. An example is that the large deck in the front of the house was bearing on nails and not on the posts which is a huge safety factors and was not even mentioned. I was very disappointed with the thoroughness of the inspection and it was not cheap. I feel like I am out that money and had to make a trip to the house myself in order to make sure it was acceptable before closing, which was not an easy feat. So I would not recommend them if you are looking for a thorough inspection of your home.

He went through every step of the way, and had top of the line equipment to analyze even the smallest of potential issues.

Hands down the absolute best! I’m a first time home buyer and Chad took the time to explain everything in terms that I could understand. He went room to room with me and explained each part of the inspection to me. He was there for a few hours and he really did look at every square inch of my 2,000ft house. Well worth the price paid! Would highly recommend!

Chad was recommended to us while purchasing our home back in October. As is typical in this market, we were pressed for time trying to make a 21 day close happen. Chad was able to find time in his busy schedule to accommodate us. Due to travel for work, we were unable to attend the inspection, but his report was very thorough, and easy to understand. He also includes a valuable list of referrals, and some good home maintenance info. We were able to meet our deadline, and close on our dream home. He is also very responsive, and did not hesitate to get in touch with my husband regarding some questions recently.
