Patrik is a very patient and knowledgeable instructor. Our group had some very different personalities and levels of experience but Patrik made the experience enjoyable and gratifying for everyone.I would recommend Patrik wholeheartedly as a source of knowledge, experience, and feedback.I hope to sail with Patrik again and would encourage anyone looking to sail or improve their sailing to look him up.JR

I had the opportunity to embark on a week yacht trip with Captain Patrik and our 5 member crew around the Canadian western coast. From the moment we set sail, it was clear that this was going to be an exciting journey filled with adventure.Patrik is an excellent leader, with years of experience navigating the open seas. He was also a fantastic teacher, patiently showing us the ropes and teaching us the basics of how to handle the yacht and its equipment. We felt confident and capable under his guidance and were able to fully immerse ourselves in the experience.As we sailed, we encountered some of the most stunning scenery and wildlife that I've ever seen. One day we saw hundreds of whales (at least from my point of view :)), and various other sea creatures in their natural habitats.Of course, what truly set this adventure yacht trip apart was the sense of adventure and excitement that permeated every moment. We explored the remote island and hidden coves and even tried our hand at some water sports like paddleboarding and wakeboarding.It was an experience that I will never forget, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a true adventure on the open seas.

Patrick was a fantastic teacher - I gained confidence and skills in his competent crewing, and he kept giving us insight into what we’ll need to know if any of our class wanted to gain our day skipper. An absolute delight, and I highly recommend learning from him

I was quite fortunate to have Patrik as my instructor for both Learn to Sail and Competent Crew. He really made sailing make sense to me, as a total newbie who grew up completely landlocked. His explanations were clear and easy to understand and he often drew simple diagrams for me to explain the physics of it all. I continue to be in touch with and learn from Patrik. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a competent sail instructor who makes it easy to learn. Also, he inspires me with his true love of sailing. You can’t find a better person to learn from. Thank you, Patrik.

I had the pleasure of having Patrik as my instructor for The Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Introduction to Sailing, Competent Crew and Day Skipper courses. I can't imagine having a better instructor.Patrick created a safe, open and supportive learning environment. 12 of the most fun and life changing days of my life. Learnt a huge amount and laughed a lot! Although I now feel confident about heading out on my own sailing adventures, I do look forward to the next adventure with Yacht Master Class and Patrik

I just recently finished my RYA Day Skipper practical with Patrik and I have to say it was a pretty amazing experience. I’ve had many teachers during my life and I can honestly say that Patrik is amongst the very best of them. It’s one thing to be an expert but entirely another to translate that into great teaching skills. Patrik is one of those rare gems that do both!I like being challenged when I’m learning and Patrik has a way of calmly but firmly pushing you to do your best, and also help pick out areas where you need work. During the 5 day sail we did he covered all the bases and worked us pretty hard without making it feel like work. I don’t think anyone really wants to attain a rating or cert without having earned it and I don’t think that would ever be the case with Patrik. You either know it or you don’t and if you don’t he finds out and explains in a way that makes sense.I’m looking forward to doing more training with Patrik in the future and won’t hesitate for a moment to recommend him to others. Top-notch through and through.

I was lucky to be able to take my Day Skipper course with Patrik who was an incredibly knowledgeable, practical, and patient instructor. It was a great experience and it helped me improve my sailing skills and gain more confidence. I would recommend it to everyone!

I had the privilege of sailing around the gulf islands for a week with Patrik as our skipper. As a new sailing student, I really appreciated how patient, knowledgeable and fun Patrik was. He made my first sailing experience memorable, educational and helped spark a life-long passion for life on the water.Hope to sail with you again soon, Patrik!

I was fortunate to join an 8-day adventure sailing with Patrik in a group of five novice sailors without any prior exposure to sailing. We sailed to beautiful remote parts of Desolation Sound in British Columbia. Patrik was extremely proficient at managing the entire trip by himself without any external aid, striking the perfect balance between safety and adventure, finding an exciting route for our trip, and introducing us to the elements of sailing. Naturally some of us felt challenged by the new experience just before setting out for the trip, but it took only a few hours of Patrik's calm leadership to make us perfectly comfortable in the boat and its surroundings (including wakeboarding provided via our dingy raft). Feeling safe at all times, we formed a group of friends who two years later stay in touch and meet a few times a year. Patrik is a great skipper, instructor, manager and friend. I recommend him strongly.
