New Pho Bo Ga La

We always drive by this place and decided to go in when my MIL was visiting. It is a small place but the staff are very friendly. Since my MIL is Vietnamese, we asked her to be brutally honest with the food and she loved it. From the beef spring rolls to the vermicelli, this is more than just a pho place. Also their cold coffee was the best one I have ever had! I would go back just to get more coffee...and more food.Definitely a must visit for anyone like us who always drives by and sees the place meaning to go in.

By far my favourite Pho restaurant is here. The flavours will make your knees buckle. I enjoy their broth and fresh ingredients. I ordered a shrimp and shredded rice paper wrap, and it was fresh. Their peanut sauce is to die for. At the end, they appreciate your business, and on the stormy night we dined, they told us to be careful. I love this location. Try it!

The Well done Beef in Rice noodles" was soo delicious and the portion size was good enough. Also the Vietnamese Coffee with condensed milk is something worth trying."

Second time I have been to this place recently.First time was decent, really enjoyed it.This time I got there around 7:40 pm. Ordered the xl bowl thinking I would have a decent amount of time to eat as their hours were till 9:30.I went to the washroom before my food came and saw a huge cockroach in the bathroom it fell off the toilet paper roll. I get it is an old building but it was a bit much to deal with to be honest.I got the appetizers they were not terrible but not great. The spring roll was decent.The main came and I was dissapointed everything seemed dull and wilted. Like I got the old veggies. The broth seemed watery not savory.I got through maybe not even half way then they started sweeping and the dust went everywhere in the air. Was a terrible experience. After they mopped and the chemical they used was so strong it was unbearable, as I was eating.I just paid and left. I get it was near the end and I was the only customer but i would have appreciated had they at least stopped me from ordering such a big meal.Honestly this was the worst experience of my life eating out.My first visit a couple of months ago was decent, the food tasted great which is why I went back.I had to even stop on the way home for something else to get the taste of dirt and chemicals out.I dont normally write bad reviews but this experience was an exception. I hope in future I get warned if they want to close before I order a large amount but I would have a hard time being comfortable going back.I hope they can improve as the food was great the first time. Really does need a deep clean though.

Amazing and quick service. The food was piping hot and there were many different sauces and toppings to add to your Pho. They also serve great traditional tea when you come in and handle a full restaurant with ease.

I likded BBQ Meatballs & Shredded Pork Rice Wrap. The Slighly Fat Beef Stew with Rice noodle was fine but I did not like the Pho here. I lelf most of my Pho, just ate only the meats.The good thing about this restaurant is they are preparing all the sauces and satay which are really good. The staff is really friendly and the Smoothies is a must-try!! You can ask the staff for recommendation. I tried Soursop and I love it. They also have Duủian Smoothies.

The beef and chicken rice wraps were great, I personally wasn't a very big fan of the shrimp rice wrap, though. Deep friend wonton was very tasty, the beef broth and the mixed meat combination pho was above average, I found it was missing a bit of flavor but overall good experience at a very decent price point.

Was the pho good? Yes!Did I find a small fruit fly in the pho? Also yesDid I remove it and finish eating regardless? Also yes!.One of the few places in the city that opens past 8pm on a weeknight! Pictured is the medium size pho.

Lovely Vietnamese restaurant in Chinatown. I enjoyed my Vermicelli bowl (I added shrimp on sugar cane and grilled pork chop) and fresh rice rolls (shrimp and shredded pork). Great food selection and ambiance.
