Great prices, friendly staff, and items that sometimes cannot be found anywhere else

I have to admit not going here 4" the longest time. It seemed like a place that fell out of "Stranger Things" from the outside. But inside is a small scale grocery store! I'm using this place almost every week for small purchases and their ready made frozen meals in the standing freezers are EXCELLENT! (Try the cabbage rolls and the sheppards pie...trust me!). Cashiers are always happy and positive. Great little store!"

Yes good deals but you do have to look closely at expire dates but over all great deals in saving money

In these trying times with food prices going thru the roof this store is a welcome addition to help peoples pocketbook, Prices are good, normally cheaper than the big stores, They have lots of specials which are real specials, keep up the great work.

I moved out of washawa a few years ago, I used to go to the store all the time because their prices were so good. I just came back and I thought I would check it out the store has raised their prices dramatically and outrageous prices are there. I mentioned this to the cashier and as usual all they do is shrug their shoulders and I told her that that would be the last time I ever stepped foot in that store. I would figure because I do all my shopping I would be able to get better prices on at least 90% of their items in the store at even a big store like Metro and those pathetically priced stores. Anyway those are my thoughts. The last time I ever go there!

Looking for food bargains this is a good place. No line ups, shelves were well stocked, store was neat and tidy, good selections of food items at a good price.Look at the expiry date some item will expire in 3 months for ie: 4 for a Dollar.

We are regulars here. We do save a lot of money coming here and there are some items we buy here exclusively. This is your typical store that sells 2nds. There are lots of deals to be had, especially when they carry 2nds on items we know. The rest of the groceries there are regular price. I don't know that I would go there just to buy spaghetti sauce at MSRP but I don't have a problem with picking up a can while I'm there if it'll save me a trip. Sometimes the meat can be a pretty good deal when it goes on sale. So, the motto here seems to be, best before doesn't mean rotten after." You can find all sorts of goodies that were frozen before the expiry but are still perfectly good. Other items might be a little past their expiry but it really doesn't matter. For example

I am a little hot and cold here. When the deals are hot they are great. Otherwise not so much. We go here as I despise the big shops, their gangsters really. There is a factor that you need to look at the expiry dates. I have a few times had to toss food. Not the best before but actual past due. However their meats and cheeses are cheaper. Often a few good deals and their service is much more house friendly. Good with the bad. As with everything I'd rather spend the money here than at Loblaws.
