I swear best school for opportunities, and if you can, join a lot of clubs, join ACE, try to get into the gifted program. The teachers are fun with serious mixed in. With some teachers, you can tell them jokes and stuff, but with others, you don't want to get on their bad side. Nice, big field/area to hang w/ friends or run around, some trees that you can hide behind to be collapsed by your own thoughts. The school's structure is basically a square, with some ends, so it's really easy to learn your way around the school. The principal holds an aquarium in the main lobby/entrance, and a large piano. The music teachers have access to a lot of various instruments, the art teachers have access to any type of material needed. A lot of school trips also happen, but you have to sign up for them in your student email that is going to be sent out. The library is pretty big, and has computers etc. too. The computer lab is fairly big. The cafeteria has a low ceiling, a vending machine and pizza selling. Pizza is sold Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and you will need to buy a pizza ticket before 10:00 am and then hand it in at lunch to get pizza. A lot of artwork is displayed around the school. Spirit days are pretty cool, as they sell cookies and pastries for fundraising. A lot of school plays are active too, and there is a student band. The overall school is old, but cleaned each day by our lovely team of custodians. I hope new students and future grade sixes get a picture of how wonderful Camilla Rd Sr PS is.

I attended this school from 2005-2008. Some teachers were decent, but I found many to be egotistical and verbally abusive. Some would get you in trouble for no reason, because they could. Obviously, I couldnt speak for everyone, as most teachers probably changed by now, but then we had this problem.

I went here a few years ago and it was an awesome school. I met a lot of wonderful people and had a lot of awesome experiences. It also has a lot of nice trips and an awesome place to meet new friends. I was here for only one year but in a year I was, learning all kinds of new stuff, did a speech, rode epic rollercoasters after singing with my choir at the wonderland trip, and many stuff. I accomplished a lot of stuff in the 10 months I have been here. Thank you Camila for an awesome unforgettable experience.

This school is awesome with fun teachers, serious teachers and well sometimes VERY serious teachers but overall the teachers are nice and friendly. Their are many field trips, clubs, bands, talent shows, Minecraft club (something you don't see in every school) and more; all you have to do is either see the teacher to apply our there will be an email asking you information to apply. Their are 2 programs the gifted program and the ACE program all which both are challenging and engaging and both are applied either by a tryout or a test for the gifted program. The school is like and L shape with 2 stories and portables, the gym is big and a dance room which is big and the library is fairly big with computers. Adding on, the computer lab is next to the library, the music rooms: the left music room(room 100) Has most of the instruments like a drum set flute, piano and much more. The music room on the right room is for a keyboard class and is thaght to grade 7s and 8s grade 6s don't worry just wait a year! Overall the schools has really nice teachers great learning space and I really love to attend the school! I can not wait to come back after summer school!

Hmm... This school is alright. It has many oppuortunities, such as Boys' soccer, Girls' soccer, Volleyball and more! But the way the teachers act so careless about students feelings, it just hurts. I feel like I cannot trust the teachers, not one bit. It's honestly not the best feeling. For example, my friend had a bit of... Let's just say... Horrible thoughts about ending her life. She told the teachers at Camilla and...GUESS WHAT?!?! They told her parents. Like imagine just wanting help, WITHOUT your parents knowing, but then, the teachers call your parents saying, Hey

I go to Chelp here and it is HORRIBLE. Especially this mean and cruel french teacher named Mme Brant. She called my friends dumb and made one of them cry during class. Avoid her at all costs. This teacher should be fired she is so bad. Once she marked my test as wrong and when I pointed out her mistake she yelled and didn't give the mark back to me. This stinks because I pay $300 to go here. She is the worst and totally ruined my experience. I hope she leaves this school.

My son has been attending this school as an ASD student for 2 years. I have nothing but positive things to say not only about his teacher(s) and staff but also the learning environment. This school breathes life!! It's is not like a mosoleum....when you walk in there are students practicing their music, running errands, at assemblies....its a living school and we love it there...so does my son. He graduates this year and Camilla has had such a positive and profound impact on his life and mine its actually with bittersweet feelings that we will be moving on to the next chapter of my sons life. The teachers and their assistants (who are really teachers too :) rallied and successfully fundraised just shy of $13,000.00 so an ASD family could acquire a service dog ....i think it was a landmark success.Hard to say good bye to this school...tbey will always be remembered. Not enough words or time to express all the great things about this school. We will be eternally grateful.

Like the earlier review, I am very disappointed of how the grad for grade 8 was held online. It was unprepared, teachers constantly making mistakes, which made me and my son stay an extra half of hour. One of the worst experiences would be when a teacher told everyone to stopping chatting or leave. How bad would you feel if you were kicked out of your graduation? The resolution was terrible as we couldn't view anything, same thing with the audio. A graduation is a time to remember and think back of the memories everyone had at the school. This event was not memorable, as the teacher did not look like they cared. Some were eating food, or or one their phones. If you wanted to view the entire presentation in the duration of the google meet, you would have to switch between teachers and wait for them to figure things out on their own presentation The performance I would say, would be sloppy. The worst part would be when the high school kids came and constantly spam the chatroom. The teachers and staff could not do anything, other than a simple please leave"The school was a good one

Teachers, I'm very disappointed in the way the grade 8 graduation was done! This was not memorable at all and there was no thought process that went into it. What a complete mess the online ceremony was. Listening to friends of kids at other schools, they actually had the kids go say goodbye to the teachers get their certificate and take pictures. Calling parents during a boring graduation because the kids weren't acting accordingly was wrong -what did you expect them to do...how did you expect them to act?! Watching teachers eat french fries while the ceremony starts tells me non of you are interested in making memories for them! The best part of the ceremony was when the kids were acting up...actually made me laugh!!
