Summerlea Golf Club Inc

Had an absolute blast golfing here. The staff really went out of their way to accommodate my family with vegetarian food during an event with a set menu of meat.

The course is a disaster no grass on the fairways or teeboxes the sand traps are dirt not sand for a par 3 course in this condition they should be ashamed to charge what they do . I would recommend that you avoid this course.

I have had the opportunity to photograph two weddings in this venue and each time was stunning. They are excellent at making sure your day run smoothly. The staff is friendly and very nice to work with.

Beautiful country course with a brilliant location. A lot of negative reviews on here but how can you complain when it’s as cheap as it is.I’ve been coming to Summerlea for years now, and I still come back for more every time. Since the new ownership last summer, I’ve noticed a vast number of improvements. I believe they recently put in a brand new irrigation system which is a heavy but amazing investment from the new management.Their prices for green/cart fees are really cheap for the area, starting at $20 for walking 9 and $45 for riding $18 during the week. I think their weekend rates are only a few bucks more.The staff are always very kind to me, and know how to do their jobs. They cook up a mean hot dog, and always do everything that they can to accommodate me. The girls in the clubhouse are always very polite which I always appreciate.Their food is as good as you’re going to find at any public course, and their prices are insanely good. $5 for a hotdog, $12 chicken fingers and friends, and $2 pop. Like, come on. So cheap. Especially with prices hiking these days.

Summerlea is an amazing venue! As a wedding photographer, I am in LOVE with their grounds. The staff is so friendly and kind towards their vendors and that truly means the world to us.I can't recommend Summerlea enough and I'm so happy every time I have a couple who says their wedding is here because I know it will be an amazing experience for them (and me)!

We had our wedding in September. Sadie and the Summerlea team were AMAZING. Very accommodating and easy going. The food was delicious and hot. Our wedding day went so smoothly and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Thank you so much :)

Course is in terrible shape, not worth the drive out there. I’ve never seen a tee box with less grass before. If you’re looking for a beer a hole course this is it.

Everyone here seems to either be loving the venue or trashing it.As someone who's golfed the $150+ courses, I'm not sure why people are so critical of a course with green fees under $50. That's first off extremely fair pricing. Yes the fairways and bunkers might not be in the perfect condition. But hey try and hit the greens then right? They're in great condition anyways!I've been going here for well over 10 years. And I can say before these owners, it was run by only one elderly gent which was extremely tough to run a whole course by yourself. Yes he was cheaper but it wasn't in good condition like this, every year Summerlea gets better and I've seen the positive progression. Looking forward to the improvements for tee boxes at the least.

Hard to complain about a course with a $30 green fee (walking), but there is certainly room for improvements here. Tee boxes were mostly dirt and fairway conditions left little to be desired. Conversely, greens were in good condition. It's a fun short course if you can look past the rough patches. I always have fun here, but encourage the club to invest more into course maintenance (green fees could go up!)

Total rip off!!! Brides and Grooms beware!!Meal was cold and small servings which each wasn’t consistent with others. The brides father supplied all the meat and they were still charged $150 a plate all which included: 3 small potatoes, 3 pieces of asparagus, 2 slivers of peppers , 2 small salads in bowls to share with 10 and cold pasta some with a table spoon of sauce and some with a cup of sauce.The meat was dropped off prior and they left it outside all day.Closed the bar during dinner which took a couple of hours then had the nerve to say it was open.Also asked for $500 more to clean up petals that the flower girls placed at the edge of the dance floor and to pick up glow sticks which were already picked up and placed on the tables.The dance floor fell apart and was a tripping hazard. The tent was ripped.For what they payed for this venue was aa joke.What a disgrace. We all feel bad for the family.Do better if there is a next wedding!!!!
