Our son has been attending WEA camps for 2 years and absolutely loves it. We are always amazed by all of the stories he shares and to learn about all of the adventures he goes on. We are so grateful to be able to give him this opportunity!

My son started attending this camp when he was 5 years old. He is now 9 and WEA is one of his top camps he requests to attend every summer. Landon has his staff are incredibly caring and highly knowledgeable of outdoor safety and fun. They aim to foster that love of the outdoors to the younger generation but also push these kids to overcome challenges and instil confidence in a very supportive and safe environment. This camp requires your child to be prepared with the correct equipment but what you get in return is your child who knows how to safely be outdoors in the wild, increased self esteem/confidence, learns an appreciation for nature, and has a great time. Highly recommend this camp but not for the faint at heart.

Best camp ever! My son doesn’t like many camps so we are thrilled that he enjoys this one every year. The camp leaders are really experienced and amazing with kids. They have introduced my son to a range of activities and experiences that he might otherwise have never tried.

Western Educational Adventures offers AMAZING outdoor programs and camps for kids and youth. My child has attended many and has developed confidence, friendships, and all sorts of outdoor/camping/survival skills along the way! This is a great way to get kids away from screens and into nature. Highly recommend WEA!

Western Educational Adventures is great! It has been foundational for our son and his developing leadership, confidence and general competence. I absolutely recommend both the camps and leadership programs.

Our son had a phenomenal experience with the youth leadership program Mt. Cain ski trip and Juan de Fuca backpacking trip. He was challenged and supported, learned so many new things and made new friends. The program supports both the child and their family to prepare for ambitious outdoor adventures. It is a truly unique program and we can't wait to try out the summer camp program this summer.

WEA runs fantastic programs. My kids always come back inspired and happy, and ready for adventure. I love that they get outside and enjoy all this area has to offer, and learn skills and a love for the outdoors that they'll have all their lives. Highly recommend these camps.

Fantastic program for children, our daughter has attended multiple summer camps with WEA and the skills she aquires are great life skills. The programs are challenging, fun and engaging. We would highly recommend these programs to any family that is looking for a great outdoor experience

Amazing experience for my son! He has been going for years including the leadership program throughout the school year. This year he will be there for 4 weeks! It's really awesome to have someone creating outdoor experiences of this quality for kids. They learn so much and get to do so many things that are hard to expose our children to in the city.

WEA is by far one of the best outdoor camps my daughter has attended! My daughter has attended the summer camp program since she was 7 and the skills that she has learned are not only impressive but incredibly useful. The range of activities from archery, canoeing, geo-caching, building shelters, etc develop leadership and confidence being in the outdoors. She can't wait to continue on to the other camps as she gets older. I highly recommend these programs, the instructors are absolutely amazing!
