This is the friendliest pet store I've ever been to. I've taken my dog to other pet stores and haven't had the kind of welcoming that I've had at the Barkery.My dog loves going here. He thinks it's Disneyland. He knows when it's a Barkery day. Four blocks away he knows, and he drags me the rest of the way. Once inside, he flies away from me, nearly dislocating my shoulder in the process, and plants his butt in front of the gate and awaits his treat.They make it welcoming humans, too. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and will help you pick out a toy or treat. They even have ready made birthday cakes or you can special order one. My dog's favorite treat is the pupsicle.

What a wonderful shop! Lots of different cookies for you canine friends and they even have a cat section! My cats loved their dogcycles even! If you bring your dog downtown please stop in to this store and check it out! They even have dog cakes!

My friend and I stopped here on our trip in Stratford and the lady working there is so so sweet and kind! My dogs going to be so happy with his new treats when I get home! Definitely recommend

We have been placing large orders of cookies from Heidi for years now. The cookies are always fantastic.... beautiful and with wholesome ingredients (nothing weird or unpronounceable).But what I really wanted to write about today was the customer service. Heidi has always been personable and reliable, and she is always willing to go above and beyond. We have had two incidents where I needed cookies asap and she went out of her way to make sure I got them.Thank you so much, Heidi! The Barkery is AMAZING! Staff are so warm and friendly and kind. The treats are the best, all homemade ! This bakery for dogs has my two puppies begging for more. We buy all our treats and high quality tough dog toys there! High value treat rewards are key to Positive training with dogs and Heidi has those covered! Owner Heidi knows her customers and ensures what they need is there,she even special ordered our pups new collars in their special colors. If you have not been to the barkery go check it out! So glad to have this fabulous store downtown Stratford!

My cat and dog love the gifts I got them from Barkery (took me 24 hours and 10,000 miles later to deliver them). The cat got a catnip pillow and the dog got the super sturdy duck chew toy + some treats. I used the duck to play tug of war with my lab and he usually destroys his toys in just a few days but the duck was stitched so well it doesn’t budge at all. It’s just as advertised! And the dog treats are super crunchy and nice for his teeth.

Very friendly staff in a pretty location easy to get too, and my dog absolutely LOVED his treats. Lots of variety in treats, toys and accessories. Paid parking all along the street.

Just found this while in Stratford picking up some things and am so happyFirstly, it smells amazing you can smell it from outside, you walk in and it smells even better and then you’re greeted by the friendliest personSecondly, the woman working today (01/19/23 @ 11:30 am) was so nice, knowledgeable and so sweet to my typically timid dog, my dog adored her. It was the happiest I’ve ever seen her in any store ever.The prices are really good considering what they carry.Some items are on a (reasonably)pricier end while other items have surprisingly low prices if you are looking for a good bargain.I will be driving back here from Woodstock for sure.
