Eastcoast Dumpling House
I always wanted to try dumplings, and this place was the most authentic place I could find that was handy to me, they did not disappoint!! I had fried beef, and steamed pork dumplings. The were fantastic! I am so full now! The place seemed very clean and the service was excellent, I will definitely be going back! Everyone needs to try this place!

Amazing host!!! Amazing chef!!!! This tastes like home!!!! Tastes like what your grandma will make!!!! Take it from me please please. I was in tears when I had a bite of their handmade dumplings. Try the lamb one if you never had it. It's so rare to find a place that would make it.And their bbq pork belly. Omg YUM!!!!!The host is such a lovely soul. I'm going back again today!

Eastcoast Dumpling House
I ordered delivery today. The bbq pork bao and pork and vegetable bao were delicious. They both had lots of filling and were nice and fluffy. The pork dumplings also had lots of filling and the black vinegar dipping sauce was very tangy and tasty. My favourite was the chasu bao. The pork was very well seasoned (salty, smoky and sweet) and the bean sprouts added a wonderful crunch. I'll definitely be ordering again.

Feel very lucky to have this place so close to home. Garlic cucumber salad, panfried lamb dumpling and shrimp wonton soup. Amazing

Eastcoast Dumpling House
Looking at all the wonderful reviews and wanting to support local, I decided to give this place a try. However, my husband and I were utterly disappointed. I usually don't like giving bad reviews. Instead, I will just not return to the restaurant. However, this experience was pretty terrible so I thought the details should be known.1. Ramen - the egg (cut into halves) was cold in the middle. It wasn't pleasant but I thought it was no big deal so I just poured soup over it to warm it up.2. The bamboo steamer basket reeked of cigarette smoke. I am pretty sure the cook was smoking in the kitchen while cooking.3. The dumpling skin was dry and rubbery. The effect you get when you pop frozen food into the microwave.4. Jasmine tea - First there was no price on the menu but I gathered it wouldn't be free. We were served lukewarm tea. I asked for it to be replaced but it came back the same. When I was going to pay, the server told me that the kettle wasn't working. Then I saw my bill and I was charged $4.51 (pretty expensive!) for a pot of tea that came without hot water. I politely asked if the charge could be remove because I would have changed my order if I knew the kettle wasn't working. She said she didn't have the authority to do it.5. Lastly, when I was there, there was only another couple before us. Even then, service was extremely slow.Maybe we were just unlucky. However, it definitely ruined our evening, especially when we were expecting something totally different.

Service was fast, but flavours are not there. Good size dumplings portions. Ordered the cucumber garlic salad - bland, the pan-fried prok, shrimp and chives dumplings - good size, but not pan fried well and all I could taste was chives, the soup dumplings- were okay but not a lot of flavour.

I went for the first time today and got pork dumplings to go. Omg, they were the best dumplings I think I've ever had, so delicious, and I'm so glad I took the drive to go out to cole harbour and try this spot!

Eastcoast Dumpling House
Ordered delivery to try for the first time after a long day of work. I didn’t feel like cooking and ramen with a side of dumplings sounded perfect. Delivered was just the dumplings, the bag was sealed and had room for both—i.e. the restaurant didn’t double check the order contents before sending it out. It’s these details that leave a bad taste in your mouth…will likely try again down the road, but in no rush.
