I went into this shop for the first time, it’s a horn o plenty offering of fragrances and art - as well as unexpected sundries,This shop owner knew his stuff and was able to provide information on long forgotten fragrances, matched notes of fragrances and when a fragrance was discontinued, his prices were better than I’ve seen at big department stores and to my surprise cheaper than winners!All his fragrances are authentic, and he and some of his customers provided a lively conversation around city building !My first time there but I’ll be back again!

Karim's expertise in matching a person with a scent to suit their occasion of choice, whether it's a formal event or quotidian activities, is well earned after decades in the perfume business. I'm just getting back into colognes now & his pointers on the available fragrances were beyond valuable. You'll be hard pressed to find a similar combination of good prices and high quality advice at a department store or online! 10/10 tastefully recommended

Nice enough place, bought perfume at a decent price, The owner loves fragrances and has a collection of novelty sized perfumes on the top shelf. Knows his stuff, got a great recommendation for substitute perfume.

As a perfume collector it’s really hard to find some discontinued scents, but this place had everything! I was pleasantly surprised at just how large the store was. At first I was overwhelmed like a kid In a candy store lol, but Kareem asked me to describe what type of scent I personally enjoy. He allowed me to sample a handful of suggested cents and very quickly I was able to find exactly what I wanted. When he told me the price I was absolutely shocked at how affordable it was for such a decent sized bottle. I was pleasantly surprised. I took a business card and next time I’m looking for a specific scent Im gonna give him a call and ask him to put it aside for mr or order it. I highly recommend this place as I live downtown and the prices of perfumes at the shops there are too high. I’ll stick to pennywise so I can save my money :)

I notice the bad reviews for this business are from Wish customers. This is a designated pickup location . I’m saddened that people will try and harm a business that has such a strong reputation because of a Wish pickup . These businesses do this as a service with next to no payment received for it . I have picked up an item there and the experience was friendly and professional. Wish customers receive a discount for picking up their shipment and business such as this make that possible . Please ignore the reviews from these unappreciative selfish people and focus on the wonderful experience the owners of this long standing business member of the Danforth community provide their loyal customers on a daily basis .

Pennywise fragrances is a great place to find popular and uncommon fragrances. Shop owner Karim is very friendly, has the knowledge and experience and provides excellent service. He was even able to sell a hard to find scent at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend to check it out as it's worth it.
