Mud Slide Cafe
Not good food, not great service. Was hardly acknowledged. Took 15 minutes to get service. Food was below average. Had to find the server just to pay. Do not recommend.

The gentleman working there was one of the nicest people I have ever met. On top of that he made me a Donair that was truly one of the best things I have ever eaten. 5+ stars. Do yourself a favour and stop in grab yourself a Donair on the way to Burntcoat Park.

Mud Slide Cafe
Very friendly, quiky fun atmosphere, and with a straightforward and good fish and chips / diner-style menu. The cook was super friendly and accomodating to kids. Very reasonably priced.Situated on the banks of the bay of Fundy, next to some beautiful mud inlets - great place to have an ice cream, and wander around or explore.

This little cafe is part of a historic country general store and is decorated with lots of interesting artifacts. When we arrived it was a busy day so they were out of burgers, but we had the fish & chips and they were very good. They do not have a liquor licence but have lots of other options. There is an ice cream stand right next door.

What a lovey, unique Cafe. The internal decor is bright, beautiful, and with reason so do ask about it. Troy obviously loves his work, History, customers and cats! Such a relaxed and personal atmosphere! Emily did wonderful with her 1st time fully in the kitchen and they both made it seem like a visit with friends. So sad we came across this place on our last day in this part of Nova Scotia. Thanks so much and best wishes in the Future!

great food, service was above and beyond, excellent and warm hearted people. a must go for authenticity and has a spirit of bringing people together for an old fashioned community feel - something lost in the modern day

Fun, colourful decor, from the facade in. Very pleasant owner, very helpful staff. Delicious coffee and cappucino! Only regret is that I was not yet ready for lunch, as the menu looked very appealing. Right on a tidal bore, so scenery out back would be amazing for enjoying summer pickup lunches.

The General Store attached opens at 8am but the restaurant opens at 12 noon. Wife had the Fries With The Works. I had the Poutine with bacon. Large portions of good food and reasonable prices.

Small cafe in Maitland, East Hants, Nova Scotia. Seating approximately 34 people inside with a few small tables outside. My guests liked the poutine, burgers and iced coffee.
