ULS Maintenance & Landscaping

Inconsiderate business! I have live in my new home for couple months now and have experienced ULS cleaning the schools parking lot multiple times now. They have zero consideration fir the fact people live in the area as they decided on Friday Feb 25th (after a whole week of no school) to begin banging and scraping ice at 7pm (ish) and continuing till 11:50 pm! Mind you that's slightly better than the times they start at 5 am on a Saturday morning!Do better and be considerate of the home owners with kids trying to sleep and the elderly trying to sleep!Ps by laws for noise:In residential districts,the operation of power equipment or machinery used in lawn and gardencare or property maintenance including any lawn mower, leaf blower, hedgetrimmer, power fan, edge trimmer, line trimmer, roto-tiller, snow blower,compressor, internal combustion engine or similar equipment, between thehours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. on a weekday, and 10:00 p.m. and 9:00a.m. on a Sunday or a statutory holiday.

Keep hurling snow and debris at parked cars and laughing about it - I hear it's good for business. Lip service was decent, at least.

We've asked this company to not do thir snor removal in front of our house before 7am. Not an unreasonable request right? So now they turn on a leaf blower, and a snow blower before 6am. Right in front of the house. On weekdays, weekends, it doesn't matter. And the building they're clearing snow from? It's abandoned by the city. Nobody uses it. I think they're doing this on purpose to be rude. Nice company. Don't hire.Now they post a reply telling me to call a long distance number to ask them to stop over the phone. This has been done by my husband. They have told him they can remove snow anytime they want bc of a contract with the city, and to call the city. Same done. The city has no responsibility either, stating that they have a contract so they can violate noise bylaw times. Take some responsibility for your actions, remove snow if you have to, fine, but remove it at an hour that is respectful to the ppl who live in the areas that u work in. I see numerous reviews stating the same problem. This seems to be a repeating problem of yours. How about you contact me and tell me your solution instead of making some fake reply on my review.

Place is clearing snow as soon as it hits the ground, great workers, friendly.

I live near a school; and although I do appreciate their eagerness to get snow cleared; 5 am on Sunday’s is a little ridiculous (but happens regularly ; even if it is still or hasn’t snowed ) and 2:30 am on a Tuesday is beyond unnecessary . Not to mention there are no teachers or students right now and the snow has already sat for 36 hours; so not sure why it was so urgent in the middle of the night using three bobcats and waking up the entire neighbourhood .

I have had ULS do a couple of big jobs for our landscaping and pergola. I was very happy with their service, efficiency and price point. Marcel has even come by a while after the initial job was done and helped us troubleshoot our underground sprinkler which saved us a great deal of stress. I would recommend them to a friend based on our experience.

ULS truck just ran a yellow light and hit me as i was walking across 24th st. at 1st Ave. Walk signal was on. Nice.
