Setting up internet with vianet is like communicating with a brick wall. I called three times and they gave me the wrong installation date. Meanwhile I am falling behind with school because they are feeding me incorrect information. First they say the 2nd is the installation date... In three seperate calls. The second comes around. Second customer rep says installation is on the third. Meanwhile I am missing three days of school because their reps can't communicate information in a concise and efficient way. They set up my installation date and don't even communicate the date! I had to call them for the installation date (a sign of excellent customer service). I'm tired of dealing with this awful customer service. At the end of the day they need to improve their communication with Cogeco so the customer can call Cogeco to assure that the Cogeco technician is arriving on the date they say they are.

I am with Vianet for more than 2 years. Great service, assistance 24/7, no hidden fees unlike Bell or Cogeco.

Actual internet is great. When you finally receive it. Just moved in petawawa, paid first month,paid installation, however quoted as saying, sorry our installors are too busy ,estimate time for your hookup, 2-4 weeks. If I hadn't already paid I would have cancelled by now. Week 2 still no internet. Maybe in next 2 weeks it will get hooked up . Ridiculous! Dont bother calling to complain, same story. Our guys are super busy and will get to you when they can. Blah blah, if you want your internet hooked up quickly, look elsewhere.

Went with vianet as upon moving got stuck with fraud Bell so I had nothing to lose. Had a straight show to the receiver so I’ve been extremely happy with the service. However with fibre coming to my area debating the switch for 40x the internet for the same long run price as NRTCC reviews are just as terrible. Been happy with the service of optimal conditions
