Dr. Tatyana Hamilton

I came to this clinic for my facial treatment. So far I'm so satisfied with the results. Mel Cabrera, I called her Dr Mel because she was a great dermatologist in the Philippines. She's very professional and caring. She treated me and very knowledgeable. Their clinic is clean. Montana at the front desk is nice. Didn't got a chance to meet Dr hamilton. Thank you and so glad I came to this Clinic.

I waited 6 months for this appointment. Dr Hamilton was such a disappointment. She rattled off basically saying I have run of the mill eczema (not worth her time I guess) and blew off my questions. I'm old enough to not tolerate this kind of BS so I told her I had waited a long time for this appointment and I have questions. She then racially profiled me ( I have dark skin but I am almost all white heritage) She said people with dark skin and come from other countries (which I am not) have it through hereditary ( which no one in my family has it) she did not want to hear this. She didn't even glance at the medications my doctor prescribed. Then she said to ask her assistants my questions. They were wonderful and understood my frustrations. I will now have to ask my doctor for a new referral. My appointment lasted maybe 4 minutes. She better be right about her diagnosis.

I had a really negative experience with Dr. Hamilton - they were unprofessional and rude in our interaction, which lasted all of 2 minutes. They did not perform an examination and simply said nothing can be done, and while I was mid explanation of my symptoms, opened the door and started to leave the room. There was no medical chart or questions about my health. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a dr - cannot stress enough how harmful this lack of care is for patients who have waited months for appointments.

Dr. Hamilton is shockingly rude. She stood there smirking and rolling her eyes when I tried to explain what was wrong and what previous medications I had been prescribed. The appointment lasted about 3 minutes, and she stood halfway out the door for most of that time, clearly annoyed. I have no better idea of what the issue is now than I did 4 months ago when I scheduled the appointment.We rely on doctors to help us with pain. Patients come in vulnerable, scared, and hopeful. It is upsetting to see someone just so flippant and careless about her role in other people's wellbeing.

A complete waste of my time - and I travelled from Port Hardy - she told me the spots on my face were cosmetic concerns, which is not true - I have had them removed twice by a dermatologist, and she told my the spot on my arm could wait - I went to another dermatologist who is surgically removing the spot she said could wait -- asap. Please do not depend on this person' opinion. NO STARS - but you have to give at least one to post :(

Terrible experience with this dermatologist, initial consultation she perceived me with a half dozen treatments but didn't even properly access the issue did not do any follow up consultation to discuss what effects the percribed treatment had. Didn't take any time to listen to my experience and dismissed everything thing I tried to explain. I initially needed an emergency biopsy and that was done at her office she never called me back for months and I left several messages with no response to provide me with the results I had to get my family dr to request the results.. still haven't heard back from her office and it's been over 6 months and now had to find a new dermatologist.

Very unprofessional..a doctor?? who doesnt have a heart to patients need.With the pandemic still on going she drop us off and told me find someone else and not waste her time.Apologizes for the shortcomings of ours.But she did not accept any of that instead.Told me even how to handle my kids.Extremely rude to communicate.I recommend her secretary who handled my anxiety of the situation well versed and assuring.Im a health care professional myself but i never make my patients feel other than my own.The dedication to promote health and well being that we promised as professionals i guess is not her top of mind.With these uncertain times what we all need is hope not rejection.Be kind and remember that everything will come back to you.

The staff was knowledgeable and efficient. I was made to feel comfortable for my procedure and all my questions were answered. Sarah, the nurse in particular was amazing!!! She was very accommodating when I made a mistake concerning the medication required for my injection. She is very kind and extremely good at her job!! I will definitely be back.

I had a very positive experience visiting Dr. Hamilton’s office as a patient. The front office staff were extremely kind, courteous, and professional. Dr. Christensen was so lovely to meet with. He listened and was very patient, thorough, and prompt during his assessment. His nurse was also very helpful and administered my steroid injections with minimal pain. Before leaving they double checked that everything had been covered off on properly and that I had my prescription in hand and was booked in for my next appointment. One of the best (if not the best) experiences I’ve had visiting a dermatologist’s office. Living with alopecia can be very stressful at times, but experiences with medical staff and professionals like this make it feel more manageable and less daunting to deal with. Very grateful to have been referred here.

Let’s be fair and acknowledge that this is Canada and therefore Tatyana gets at least two stars simply by virtue of having a heart beat.In all honesty though, if you’re not happy with what you do for a living, please… Please do something else! That goes for every level of society, from grocery clerk right up to fancy pants, gucci belt wearing dermatologists. Take notes people. Sure, the average person who comes into this clinic walks out feeling like a used tampon but let’s all take this as an opportunity to think about how we affect the people we deal with in our own work environments.Tatyana I sincerely hope you get a chance to visit the gucci store again real soon, it looks like you could use a break (and a career change).
