Visited this pub on July 21st, they were not overly busy and 90% of the tables had no food on them whatsoever. We waited 15 minutes to get acknowledged and order drinks, and another 15 for them to arrive. We ordered food for the 4 of us and waited an hour and 40 minutes while getting acknowledged by the waitress twice to see if we would like more drinks. After our long wait we were informed our food went to the wrong table and they would have to remake it, we couldn't wait any longer and told our waitress we couldn't, she was friendly about it and comped our drinks, we left a small tip anyhow. There were multiple other tables that left due to long waits, but we waited it out based on the previous reviews of promising food. Wish we had a better experience here as it's one of the few pubs in Armstrong.

Not sure what the deal is but this place was fixed up and was great. Then they just closed . No idea why or when or if it will open again. Been closed for months. To bad.

awesome dry garlic ribs, gr8 entertainment and service was terrific. the atmosphere is fun, something between a dive bar and classic country western. truly enjoyed the full experience.

We've been here in the past but this time was not great. There was no heat! It was literally warmer outside. The menu is extremely limited and my drink was served with flat pop.We revisited this bar a week later after they posted the heat was fixed. It was still so cold inside and my drink was served with flat pop once again. I like this bar and the city needs a place to go. I hope things improve soon.

I haven't even contemplated going to the BI in 10 years but after several people claiming it had been renovated and had improved I caved. Its 100% improved. The lunchtime server Chauntel is fantastic, the menu great and there are tons of options, food is great. It's definitely on top of our favourite watering hole locations. The only things I can think of that would improve it is continuing the plants and string lights through the restaurant and getting some better beer ontap. Adding a dark beer would be great! ---Crannog Ale's Back hand of God is my recommendation!

With one lady running the whole floor, the service was great and the food was DELICIOUS!!! Best caesar I've had in a long time! And thanks for squeezing the white wine outta the box for me!!

An OK but very meh experience, very busy on Saturday night with an anti vaxxer rally but still got served drinks in decent time. Good specials on beer but didn't order food. Not a nice bar but not terribly run down either. Owned and operated by anti vaxxers so no worry of wearing a mask or showing ID/passport. Would go back but only with company who suggested it, 3 stars start to finish. This is a place you go to get hammered off cheap mediocre beer nothing more nothing less, they won't cut you off.
