K Nails Salon

I recently moved to Edmonton. After trying few salons I found this beautiful place. I love the service they provide! It is a local family business and they go above and beyond for their services! The massage chairs they have are exceptional.

I’ve gotten my nails done here many times and they are consistently very well done! Kim and his wife are super friendly and I always feel relaxed and comfortable. Kim is a total perfectionist and gets all the details right. He has a great eye for design and is very helpful when I’m undecided about what to get. Additionally, the nails are strong and do not chip or break - I’ve let them go for 6 weeks before (not recommended) and they didn’t have a single chip or scuff. They are thin and well sculpted, and I get so many compliments on their quality! Yes it’s slower than a service you’d get in a mall or something, but it ends up saving you time later when you don’t have to repair a broken nail.

My go to place for nails and a treat. They are so accomodating, friendly, great attention to detail and an excellent price. Love the massage chairs, and they're always playing a rom com or something fun on the tv.

Kim and Jenny take pride in their business and have great attention to detail. Great customer service! My UV gel nails last for weeks without chipping and Kim is always happy to do new designs and colour combos.

The best salon you’ll ever find with the sweetest, most conscientious owners. I’ve been going to Kim for 13 years and never once have been disappointed!

I had a gel manicure here today. I'm still relatively new at having this done regularly so I appreciate the patience of the staff with my questions and ignorance! I also appreciate the friendliness of everyone there--Tammy even helped me decide which fingers to get the art on! The work is excellent, and the people are fantastic. I'll choose to go here from now on, even though there is another place closer to where I live.

Best nail salon in Edmonton. I went over a month and a half without a fill and my nails were still strong! The staff are really nice and I appreciate there is always a movie on to watch if I'm not feeling too chatty.**ETA** While I have loved every set I've had from K Nails, my removal experience was not great. I lost a nail and figured I'd give my nails a break. I expected the nails would be soaked off, however the nail tech proceeded to use a nail tip to ping off the rest of my acrylics. It was not comfortable, and a week later my nails are so sore and brittle. I didn't expect them to be strong after removal, but removing my nails this way has caused them to be paper thin, ripping past my nail bed at every opportunity. I paid $55 to have sore fingers and I'm pretty bummed that this experience has kind of ruined the salon for me.

I really enjoyed my first time there. The ladies were professional, kind and patient. I got a mani/pedi with shellac on both hands and feet. Without including the tip, it was $80 for me and my guy was $50. It was my treat for his birthday :)All in all it was wonderful service.We will definitely go again.

I love love love this place! went there for the first time today to get my old acrylics filled, and loved my service! I was greeted with many smiles when I entered, and was sat down in less than 5 minutes! My kind lady (I forgot to ask her name!) was so sweet and we had a lovely little conversation! she was gentle and kind on my nails, and double checked/made sure I was happy with what she was doing! She followed the idea I had perfectly, and not to mention the prices, which are fantastic! At least 20$ cheaper than anywhere i’ve gone!! Definitely coming back again! (I took these photos while waiting for my bus) Im suggesting this place to all my friends :)

The man, I don't know his name, who did my gel nails did an amazing job. He didn't seem at all bothered by me being picky about little things I wanted changed, and he has a very gentle touch. He ended up completely redoing the horrible set I got done elsewhere so the process took a long time but he was lovely and my nails are immaculate. He was pleasant and friendly but didn't go out of his way to make needless small talk, which I appreciate. Losing some points on ambience and price (but like I said I was there a long time and the nails are perfect, it was also my choice to tip him $20 for his trouble as they close at 730 and I left just after 9!).
