It was clean and the waitress was heavenly. My one and a half year old was super loud but it was nice and quiet in there and he loved our waitress. Cant remember her name but she had been short greyish hair. She is super good with kids. I'd go back just for her.

Went here for the first time in about 15 years and wow so disappointing. NOTHING like i remembered.Food literally tasted like hospital food, veggies were ice cold and rock hard. Fries looked like they had been re-deep fried about 5 times, i can't detail enough how terrible everyone at the tables food was.Service was slow, had to ask for cutlery after she brought the appetizer out. Drink refills took for ever, only because of another lady working we got them, plates were not cleared.Never ever again will i step foot in there, please don't waste your money, 85 dollars for garbage, would have had a better meal at McDonald's.

We stopped there on our way to Winnipeg. Fried chicken was really good. Moist, crispy and very hot. Market vegetables were lightly steamed and were quite crisp, but they were barely warm. Service was just okay. On the way home we stopped again. Pot pie is excellent. Market vegetables were over cooked. Service was really bad

I decided to try this location because I had so many problems with the other location, well that was a stupid mistake, the service is just as poor if not worse than the South location.We waited at the front for several minutes, the severs just kept walking past us, not once did they even say we will be right with you or anything. Finally after a line formed they took notice.We were seated at the very end of the dining room, it was so cold in the restaurant that you could almost see your breath, we asked for a warmer spot and or turn off the air, we were told they would turn it off, nope that never happened.Prior to ordering we noticed another table that stopped the waitress and over heard her telling them that the kitchen was behind, those customers were angry and left. Another table asked the server for their bill after several minutes of waiting, the customer went and stood by the kitchen door to get the servers attention.Another table was waiting for a take out container for their food, again, the server was in the kitchen and not attending to the table, that customer too, went and stood by the kitchen to get what they needed when the customer spotted them.When our server came to the table we asked if the food was going to be long as we had overheard the problem at the other table, she reassured us that it would not that the Chicken was ready they just were taking it out. We ordered at appetizer and got it, and when the food finally arrived about an hour after being seated, the waitress said, I didn't like the look of the chicken when it came out

Super awesome night! I was there for our 1 year anniversary, unfortunately I have to edit my original review. It looks like the chicken I got was undercooked and ended up giving me salmonella poisoning. The pictures show how pink it was.

I was disappointed with my food experience at Swiss Chalet. I ordered the classic chicken sandwich and there were bones in it. It really grossed me out. I was not expecting to find that in my food and I was not the only one at our table who did. The service was good and the prices were okay. There is also lots of parking available.

Usually promp service but the last time we were there the food took over half an hour to come and when it did the chicken and fries were cold!

The food was okay and the staff were nice, but it took a long time for the food to come out, and we were one of at most 3 groups in the restaurant. Seems like the kitchen is understaffed as others before me had the same complaint.

Gross. Definitely not worth +$25 for this meal. Take the extra time to drive south, they are much better. Chicken looked undercooked, baked potato was burnt on the outside, raw inside. Service was horrible, especially being that there was only 3 tables to serve. Over heard staff complaining about tips. I'd give no stars if that was an option.
