Almost an year staying in CHFR property. Haven't had much issues but when I had the staff always took care of my request carefully and with lot of care. Very nice and friendly people!

Very Bad experience. I booked the room two months before moving to the place. I gave the resignation letter to the company, Booked my air tickets and got cancelled, Waste of $500. And at last moment two days before they told me the place is for male tenants. I clear everything before that regarding this. Now, I Lost my previous job and New job also. Because of the accomdation only because they are very careless.

I wouldn't complain about the service provided by chfr. But think twice before moving to 180 waterloo st. The apartment leaks like hell.. The kitchen will be drowned in water whenever it rains. Chfr sends out maintenance as soon as they receive a complaint but the apartment quality is below average, not livable.

Don't make the mistake of renting from them. Service is terrible! The appointment with technicians are fixed, they postpone, again they postpone, but they never show up. So many repairs required but they just deduct monthly rent from account and give absolutely no service. It’s difficult to move your stuff when you are settled with family in a place, but 6 months have been a nightmare. Don’t just enter in the trap. Check the images for condition of house.

Highly unimpressed with CHFR. Was in the process of trying to rent an apartment, ad had it labeled as all utilities included except lights. Went through the application process just for them to tell me I would have to pay for heat as well, but they would drop the rent by $20 per month.

Exceptionally difficult to deal with. No call backs, won’t return emails. Can’t give an accurate description of their process. Didn’t even bother going through with the rental because they were so difficult to deal with. I’ll live elsewhere!

We have been very happy with the service of Canada Homes for Rent. They have taken good care of our properties and tenants. They are very quick in fixing issues in extreme winter conditions, whether it is hurricane scenario or frozen pipes. They have helped us managing our utilities too and take a lead when any issue arises with utilities. They also have internal team who renovated the units inside and we are very happy with thier renovations. They are good at handling tenant requests. They are managing multiple properties of ours. We highly recommend working with them.

Not even just the worst property management company but the worst company in general I have ever dealt with. Not only to they practice unethical business tactics but also illegal. The owner takes being a POS to a whole new level.I had an open file with the tribunal for lack of repair to an improperly installed window that blew in during the winter months and I paid the heat) and they tried to evict me. They were unsuccessful but wouldn’t make the proper repairs or replace the window. I moved on my own accord receiving my full damage deposit back just to find out that the company was giving out my personal information over a year later and slandering my name saying I was evicted. I had to call a lawyer and threaten to sue.

Do not hire this company! The owner works for his father during the day and doesn’t care about managing properties. They bill you for things they haven’t done and if you ask anything they will forget about you because they became too big too fast. They take on contracts and do nothing except sell you renovations. They also have several law suits against them.
