TCMPLUS - Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment Center

I have had the pleasure of knowing Dr.Chen for over a year now, and was introduced by a mutual friend, who strongly believes in his abilities and advice. In our first meeting approximately a year ago, Dr.Chen was able to (in a very short period of time) identify the ailments I had been experiencing over some time. Dr.Chen made recommendations and provided me with medication to help with these ailments. I have to admit, they had an incredible impact and I could feel the difference in a very short period of time. I found Dr.Chen’s office to be well maintained and welcoming. I found him to be incredibly personable and I could tell that he was genuine and sincere in his care. He asked questions that were very clear and he never made me feel that I was taking up his valuable time (as I have been made to feel when visiting traditional Doctors who always seem to be in a rush to meet the next patient). Based on the success of the first meeting, I booked a follow up meeting and I shall be booking regular checkups with Dr.Chen. Please do not interpret this review to discourage anyone from seeing traditional doctors; however, I would strongly recommend that you make the time to meet with Dr.Chen. You will find him to be incredibly welcoming, sincere, astute and effective. And most importantly, you will find a material change to your physical and mental health wellness.

I recently visited TCM Plus and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of service and expertise offered by the practitioner. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, they were knowledgeable and passionate about traditional Chinese medicine.I was especially impressed by the range of treatments and remedies available. The practitioners took the time to listen to my concerns, understand my medical history, and create a personalized treatment plan just for me.The treatment itself was incredibly effective and I noticed an improvement in my symptoms almost immediately. The practitioner was patient, kind, and professional, and I felt comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process.One of the standout features of this place was the quality of their products. The herbs used in the remedies were carefully selected, and the practitioners took great care to ensure that they were of the highest quality. The remedies themselves were expertly prepared, and I felt confident in the knowledge that they were safe and effective.Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience at TCM Plus. The quality of the service, the expertise of the practitioner, and the effectiveness of the treatments all exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a traditional Chinese medicine experience, and I look forward to my next visit.

My father in law was diagnosed with lung disease, he was seen by UHN docs and no treatment. He was coughing non stop, fatigue and anxiety. After seeing Dr. A he is not coughing, leading active lifestyle . 3 months ago we thought he will deteriorate but we are so grateful to Allan for being honest and helpful. He also treated my son. I can’t believe that I am writing a bad review on google. And yes, this is the very first one in my life only because I never felt so depressed and suffocated by the doctor from this clinic.I had the last conversation with Dr. Chen this Monday, he first invited me for a call and after the call, he threatened to call police if I send him text message.I paid over $1200 to the clinic, and I decided to ask for a refund because I have not received any results from his treatments which costed me over a thousand of dollars.Dr. Chen first agreed to refund and quickly changed his mind. I know the results may vary, like all doctors would use it as an excuse for no effect outcome, so I was willing to give it a try because I trusted his promises (how naïve of me!), but I am not into WASTING money, especially there is over $1000 involved.What I ended up getting are insults and personal attacks from Dr. Chen over just $1200. It doesn’t take much to show someone’s true color, does it?Dr. Chen obviously knows legal issues well. How? Probably through experiences.He doesn’t text or email, only does phone call, to avoid written records. I am Gen Z, I like texting more than phone calls and thought he was old school until now I realize he is rather clever.In the last phone conversation, he shouted at me in the phone saying, “I will never return your money, you can send me your lawyer’s letter, I don’t care, and I won’t return a penny …”, “I will call police if you text me again….” For $1200, it won’t be worthwhile for me to get a legal assistance, especially considering the time it will involve for a busy professional.Financially I can live without $1200, but morally, I can’t live with the humiliations and the hurts caused by a doctor who I once trusted and invested in his treatments. Seeing him getting away from it makes me sick in my stomach.I won’t go into too many details in overpromising, over prescribing, cheating on medicine amount, those unscrupulous tricks Dr. Chen is using.I trusted you, Dr. Chen, when you said “no problem” to all my problems until the problem is “money”. Desperation made me naïve and gullible.Right now, I only wish other people don’t have to experience the financial damage and mental humiliation EVER from you and your clinic. Just don’t commit too much $$ to his empty promises or his psychologic game, ok?

Before I came to Dr. Chen’s clinic, I was suffering hormone imbalance, irregular period, lack of sleep and appetite, I was so weak and almost fainted on the street. I am just so lucky to find Dr. Chen! After only took his medication for 3 days, my prolonged bleeding stopped.  Since then, I have been having my regular period and feeling much better. What makes Dr. Chen stand out is that he patiently explained to me what caused my illness and how his medication could help me. I have been taking his medication for a few months now, I feel very energetic, have less mood swing and fall sleep easily etc. His medication really worked wonder on me. I gained my health and life back and thank you Dr. Chen!I also introduced Dr. Chen to my parents, my son and my friends. They all have positive feedback about Dr. Chen’s treatment. Nobody wants to get sick but unfortunately we all do. I understand the feeling of helpless, don’t know what’s wrong with your body and struggle to find right doctor who can cure you. If you are in this situation, you should come to Dr. Chen’s clinic and let him help you!

My son is 9 years old and had suffered skin problem. He had acne on his face very often. And after the acne gone, there were dark marks which look not good. Dr. Chen diagnosed that it is not an external skin problem but needs internal conditioning. After having the traditional Chinese medicine for a few weeks, the acne is gone and never comes back. Dr. Chen also suggests my son not to have fried food and to keep very good sleep everyday!

For the last 16 years, I have gone to a few dermatologists who couldn't clearly diagnose my condition, I saw Dr. Chen (Alan), only 3 days ago, within the first few seconds of my initial consultation he told me what was causing skin irritations/bumps all over my body and face. I am following his guidance and already only 3 days in, my skin hasn't been itching!! I feel more energetic, slept peacefully all 3 nights without my skin itching and bothering me, and even lost some weight. I am going back to Alan after 2.5 weeks for my follow up and next steps. He is amazing, very professional, courteous, highly ethical and an expert in his domain. I highly recommend him. You will benefit your mind, body and soul after consulting with him for any health issues. I'm so glad I found TCMPlus!I was in a lot of pain for many years with really bad contact dermatitis / dyshidrotic eczema on both my hands. I would get severe dry skin and blisters, and would often have to deal with open wounds on my hands from all the scratching and tearing.I was in tears most of the days because of the pain.I'm so glad I googled and found TCM Plus. And I'm SO glad I decided to go ahead with Alan's treatment.He did tell me I'd see results in about 2 weeks, but the treatment should take 1 month.One month later, I was starting to see significant results. I was really happy that it worked! No joke!I needed to change my diet, which I committed to, and took the medicines that were prescribed to help with the detox for one month. It was all worth it. I did loose some pounds, which I have been trying to do, and my skin has cleared up nicely as well. Phew! My toddler is an active 3.5 years old boy. He is never a good eater. since he started going to daycare, I worried even more about if he can eat and sleep properly. Maybe the daycare life stressed him out, soon enough I noticed that he ate very little, took long time to fall sleep at night and had more tantrum breakdown than usual. I can just mix it with milk, juice or yogurt. After taking the medication for 2 weeks regularly, I noticed quite the improvement in different aspects. First of all, he is a lot happier now. His “horrible 3” moment is getting less and less. He can peacefully play with his toy for longer period of time. Secondly, he can eat a lot more than before. Before taking the medication, meal time was a struggle since he doesn’t show much interests on any food. But now, he often says he is getting hungry and wants to eat some of his favourite foods”. Dr. Chen is very experienced to identify the issue and patient to explain why that happens and how to treat it. With his care and medicine, my mom recovered a lot and feel really thankful!
