SCAM ALERT! SCAM ALERT! On our third fridge from Discount Appliances. They will not send anyone to fix appliances. They have now made us return and exchange the refrigerator TWICE at our inconvenience. They do NOT honour the warranty and REFUSE to refund any funds despite selling faulty appliances multiple times. It took me 4 days and countless wasted hours both times the appliances failed to get a garbage solution. The customer service reps are unable to answer questions and will NOT return calls. They do NOT offer delivery despite the website and sign in store stating they do. I urge everyone to STAY AWAY.

Buyer beware! Bought a refurbished stand up freezer,had to pickup ourselves, never froze anything from day 1. We had to return it ourselves ,got a replacement. That one blew the breaker as soon as it was plugged in. Returned it, nothing to exchange it with, ended up getting a regular cube freezer. They have no technicians in moncton for warranty work...no refunds its an exchange,but they don't have anything to exchange with..so you have to take what they have or get store credit...terrible products,customer service,

What a scam. Do not buy anything here.I bought 3 sets of washers and dryers at once and every washer was defective!I said I wanted my money back they said they only exchange… ok fine I exchanged and of the 3 replacements 1 was still broken. When I went to exchange that one the manager told me this would be the last time. He said all the machines get inspected before leaving and apparently when I brought them back they tested them and they all worked fine.Apparently he thinks I like loading and unloading appliances in basements for fun. The dryers still have lint in the lint trap… obviously they are not refurbished.They are barely cleaned.

If I could leave fewer stars, I would. Not one, but TWO defective machines. Neither of which were properly ‘refurbished’. Had to fight with Steven to get them to deliver the second machine which came crammed in the back of his personal vehicle. No refunds. POS machines and POS customer service. AVOID.

Shocking is an understatement! A new Samsung fridge bought in January 2021. The freezer did not work from the day it was installed. After paying delivery charges and repair costs and replacing the fridge 3x nothing worked. Company said for $500 delivery charge they would replace the fridge again but would not guarantee it would work. Stay very far from #discountappliances in Moncton New Brunswick.

I just wanted to share how thankful I am to Discount Appliances, over these last months I have had the worst luck in the world when it came to replacing my box freezer that decided to die after 13 years of life. I've gone through 3 different company's who unfortunately were unable to help me with my needs, unfortunately going through a pandemic EVERYONE needed a freezer making it one of the hardest items to get your hands on, and company's have been having a difficult time keeping them in the store, or replacing them if they didn't work as intended.Not only did Discount Appliances make sure that I was taken care of as a customer, they've gone above and beyond to make sure that I have a solid product through their company, assuring that what I was buying, was going to last me and my family. Through the whole process, each person I've spoken to has been very kind and polite to me, even the people in their Nova Scotia Location. I do want to give a big-thank you to Stephan making making my buying experience a very good one.I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for appliances for their home, and actually have recommended them to a few friends who are on the look out for house-hold needs. I would definitely go with this company again in a heart-beat.

I bought all the appliances for my new home from Discount Appliances; Refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and washer and dryer. I had to exchange my refrigerator 3 times because it wasn't working and the Dryer makes awful grinding sound. I had to pay delivery charge for refrigerator 3 times. I think I will have to throw away my refrigerator and buy a new one because 3rd refrigerator they brought 10 days ago stopped working again.I lost all my trust in this company. They are selling Appliances that they shouldn't. They don't even check if appliances is working before sending it to customer's home.I had enough with this company and never never will do business with them. I am very disappointed.

They sell used home appliances and damaged home appliances for a little bit Less Price then the market price. The inventory is small and most of the stuff is outdated. Sometimes you may find the same items not damaged for Less Price when there are sales in the supermarket chains. I went there to buy a fridge, a stackable washing machine and a range. However I bought both the same items brand new and newer versions from The Bricks" store for a better price because they had a sale. I saved $800 from all the three items and got a 10 years warranty for my fridge and 3 years warranty for the washing machine and the stove. Even I was offered a financing for one year. It is always better to explore the market before you buy from this place. Definitely you will find a better deal than this place."

SCAM!! Do NOT Buy from them, I was trying to save some money. I wish I could go back and just buy new appliances. I purchased a stove, dishwasher and ordered a fridge. It’s been a month and I have not received the fridge yet and they refuse to give me my money back. They never know when they are getting shipments or what is even on the shipment, they are beyond disorganized.Also I’ve had nothing but issues with the stove and dishwasher. The dishwasher leaves food on the dishes and the screen on the stove stops working from time to time. Its been 3 months of back and forth and they wont send somebody to repair my appliances. I am already working on bringing them to small claims court because they cannot continue to get away with this.DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE !!!!

DO NOT BUY HERE!! My wife and I have 2 kids ages 6 and 2. Our washing machine broke down and we needed another. We thought we could save money and buy used. We went in on a Thursday and was told they could have a machine there the next day and they'd give us a $35 credit for the old one. We paid and left. Never received a call the following day. Called on Saturday and the truck never arrived. Was told it would be in early the following week. By the next Friday it still hadn't arrived. By then, we had no work clothes and smelly kid bedding. We are 30min out of town and can't just pop into a laundromat. We went and bought another machine from another appliance store in Moncton who actually has stock. We are going on week 2 and they REFUSE to give us our money back for a product they have yet to bring in. I'm not returning a product at this point, I want a REFUND for a product that didn't arrive in the time promised to us that led to us needing to purchase another machine elsewhere. I would not have paid for the machine if they had said they didn't know when the truck would be in. We would have kept looking so we could have one sooner. I don't care what the policy is, THIS IS WRONG! DO NOT BUY HERE!
