Spanish Room

My child is taking lessons with Raquel one-on-one. Throughout the lesson, she motivated the kids to learn more. Her goal is to make the class fun and interesting.The methods she uses are very easy for the children to understand.I’m glad that we started with her and I’m looking forward to seeing my child learn more Spanish.

My son started doing group classes with Ms. Raquel and it has been WONDERFUL. I am amazed by how engaging and effective her virtual classes are as she does wonders with the connecting with students and making learning Spanish fun for her students. My son is learning more from this class than any in-person class and it’s so much more convenient for us as a family because it’s only 25 minutes long! I’m so grateful to have found this class for my son and can’t say enough about it!

My 4 year old has been taking classes for over a year. This is the time when kids retain so much information and you can tell she's learning so much! Maestra Raquel makes classes so much fun and engaging. My daughter looks forward to them every week. Maestra Raquel did a great job transitioning to Zoom calls when the pandemic hit and she's able to keep the kids interested every class. I highly recommend the Spanish Room.

The school has a great program. My 7-year old learns a lot and he really enjoys the classes. Never complains that he has to attend. Ms. Rachel is a wonderful teacher. The classes are always fun.

Raquel- the founder of the program is an amazing teacher.She has a real passion and she loves what she does. She constantly brings a new activities to our class to engage the children and make learning process fun and easy. My son is looking forward to meet her every week. I couldn’t be happier with our choice of Spanish educator and highly recommend her.

Raquel is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. I’m 24 years old and we meet for Spanish class once a week. I tried taking Spanish in high school but could never get the hang of it, but with Raquel she explains all of the concepts in an easy to understand way. We go over new things every week and she also gives me homework to practice during the week on my own. She doesn’t go too fast or slow, and adapts to how fast or slow you’re learning. She’s patient, kind and understanding. If you’ve been debating whether or not to take her class, I highly recommend you do!

Maestra Raquel is the best!! She is so patient, which is exactly what's needed when trying to teach young children a new language. She makes the children feel welcome, and she makes them laugh each session. Her instruction is so targeted that with the words and phrases she's teaching my daughter, she's able to make endless phrases/sentences! I highly recommend!

My 7 year old son took private classes with another class Raquel during the summer. The kids had so much fun learning Spanish! As a Mexican-American parent, its extremely important that my son learns to speak and read Spanish. I was always told that two languages open every door along the way." Mrs. Raquel is excellent! We attended class about 2-3 times before this pandemic occurred so we were still fairly new. My 3 year old really enjoyed class and seeing the recorded videos of lessons were neat for us as parents to watch my daughter interacting in class. We speak to our daughter in Spanish at home but since she attends preschool she was starting to struggle with the two languages. The Spanish Room is a great program that showed her kids her age also speak Spanish! We’ve noticed a great peak in her confidence with her language development. Even though attending class has been postponed, Mrs. Raquel and the Spanish Room have gone above and beyond my expectations with zoom classrooms twice a week. She presents lessons that are relevant to the current stay at home situation with lessons on the home, family, and household items. I look forward to continuing our time at the Spanish Room!
