Pedi N Nails Newcastle Ontario

I'll be honest, super friendly and welcoming but the nail technician (Julie) wasn't very professional in when asking what I want and then doing what she felt like doing was what was wrong. Cut my nails short when I asked for them to be filed down and didn't ask about shape at all.. she then recommended a design and I said sure a flower or something pretty.. I ended up with a design that wasn't very pretty (photos attached). Didnt even ask me if i liked the design or show me until she was done.Unfortunately I won't be returning.

Usually I would not post something negative but I could not let this pass. Today I had my nails done Ped n nails in Newcastle. I have been going for about a year. Sometimes a good job sometimes not so great. If you get Jen, terrific job. The owner Johnny not so good. Today I had Johnny and when I got home, there was definitely some real problems with a couple of nails so I went back and ask him to fix them. He made me wait and was totally ignoring me while he took out garbage etc. he could not have been more rude and blamed it on me. The fact that these nails were a problem, and when he was finished, they were worse than before. I recommend. If you go, there only have Jen and certainly never use the owner. I will never go back because of the lack of customer service.

Absolutely love this salon!! Excellent staff and service! Prices are expected but quality is extremely high! My loyalty card is almost filled, they also offer most unique services like Chrome dust (featured in my pics) as well as Cat Eye, and more! Extremely pleased. Will always recommend.**NEW** they now offer dipping and dipping with tip!! Amazing service and prices! Also have a 10 day policy, if your nails chip or break you can can go back they’ll fix it for you! Amazing customer service!

This place has such high reviews that I’m beyond shocked by the results of my experience. The staff is very friendly and nice, but the work on my nails was so awful. Perhaps the manicurist was having an off day, but I’m extremely disappointed. I got shellac and my pointer finger has little craters in the polish, and the thumb looks like it was smudged. When I asked her to fix the thumb nail, she did from the looks of it, but then also forgot to add the shiny top coat. So not only is the thumb still not fixed, it’s a matte finish and doesn’t match the rest of my nails. I was also overcharged. The guy told me $53 plus tax (as showed on the board) but then charged me $65 after tax… with tax, it should have been no more than $59. I didn’t notice these issues until after I left, but I won’t be going back.

Im new to the neighborhood and so happy to find this place. Service was seriously amazing. Beautiful nails, lovely shape, thank you Johnny (and Jenny!). Pricing was reasonable and upfront. 10day guarantee on shellac nails (!). The pedi was really thorough (yet gentle with a sore nail which they mercifully fixed). Pedi included scrub and hot stones. Thanks Leo. My temp was taken on arrival, then Sanitizer. Salon is clean with protocols in place. I would highly recommend this salon. This was the most customer oriented salon experience I've had in years. I will definately be returning.

I booked my appointment wrong but I was never given the option for what I wanted. I told them in person what I wanted and they did not give me the nails I asked for. I was told “sorry maybe next time” rather than given any compensation. I am extremely unhappy with how my nails look and after expressing that I did not receive what I wanted they still did not give me any help. I panicked and didn’t ask for a refund but I should have, I paid nearly $40 for nails I hate and now I will be spending another $60-80 on a new set of nails from a different salon

The experience was great and the people were very nice! My nails look great every time (thanks Jenny & Nicole)! I even took my father-in-law here for a manicure. He liked sooo much. Of course, my hubby became a regular customer here as well. :)

I'd rate this a 0 star. I went there for my first time last weekend. The lady cut the entire side of my toe nail off causing it to bleed non stop and become infected. She did the worst paint job ever. My friend got the exact same thing except she paid $25. cash and because i had to pay with debit i paid $39. ? Such a rip off plus my toe hurts so bad. Never coming back and id recommend everyone not going there..

Don did an amazing job on my nails! He was nice and gentle with my Mani Pedi, and very precise with the colours. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful.
