Great friendly service, delicious food, my pics don’t do it justice. The strawberry milkshake is packed with flavour, and the gluten free, vegan Carrot Cake is the best I’ve had (including regular carrot cakes). I haven’t tried the red velvet yet but I’m sure it’s not going to disappoint. No one’s going to judge you if you have just dessert for a meal, but you’d be missing a great experience if you didn’t check out the Turcotte’s chip-stand located behind their Main Street building. Best fries ever.

Cones and Cakes
Visited for a few days with one of my daughters and this place was the highlight of our trip. It’s owned by a young energetic couple that really care about the community and their staff, and it really shows. It’s very clean and the staff are very friendly and interactive. This place makes everyone feel welcome and special, an absolute must when visiting. Also check out the chip stand out back and the crystal shop next door. Same owners and same dedicated attention to detail.

1000% best ice cream in town! Tamra, Danny and their crew are absolutely fantastic and so is Cones and Cakes! The Lavender Lemon ice cream is now my favourite! I also got the lemon cake and key lime cheesecake to take home and they were also amazing! Keep doing what you’re doing because no one else comes close to what you guys have going on in that shop!

Cones and Cakes is an amazing Ice shop with great atmosphere and top quality products! The Ice Cream and toppings were delicious!! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful even though the store was very busy when we were there. This is a must stop if your in Mattawa!! This is a great addition to Mattawa's Main Street!
