Jonesy's Restaurant + Lounge
Ordered Chicken Parmigiana with a double side of fries, others at the table ordered stuffed potato, steaks and some mashed taters, Monterey chicken, with garlic toast. The chicken Parm was not very large but was very tender and heavily adorned with cheese (tasted excellent) fries looked a bit unwieldy but the fork managed them quite nicely. Simple but delicious combination with the gravy. Gravy was pretty thick but paired well with a fork full of fries. This was my first time here, and the gravy was Definitely poutine worthy. I'll have to get that next time and see how it is.Our server, Amy, was pleasant and friendly. Would eat here again when I'm in the neighbourhood.

I would strongly recommend Jonesy's! We had heard good things about this place, but we had no idea how good it is! What a great establishment! As soon as you walk in the door, you are entering a comforting, heartwarming environment! I do reccomend calling ahead to make a reservation on peak times (dinner on weekends). It is very obvious that the business is a great place when you find out that they are full with reservations and the lounge is filled as well! That being said, Melissa (sp?) Was extremely helpful in making us feel welcomed and shifting around some tables in order to accommodate us. It was very obviously thier busy time, the staff were very busy trying to seat people. It might have been nice that they acknowledged us when we entered, even though they were busy. It was obvious they were busy, but just a quick I'll be tight with you" would be great! Melissa

Unfortunately going downhill fast, Jonesy’s is not what it used to be. We’ve been coming here for years and have watched the quality of the food and service decline drastically recently. Our last few visits/take out orders have been….terrible to say the least. We would love to continue supporting this local small biz, but we’ve given them one too many chances already and are continuously disappointed. Our last take out order was over $200, we were told it would be a 30 minute wait but when we showed up after 30 minutes we stood at the front waiting for almost another hour after that. As we were waiting they told us they were out of potatoes and needed to change our orders so clearly hadn’t even started on them yet. When we got home, there wasn’t one dish any of the six of us were impressed with. The steak was the worst we’ve ever had, the pickerel was soggy and without any of the accompaniments the menu stated and the ribs were tough. Sorry, but we are through with giving Jonesy’s chances and won’t be coming back.

I am truly shocked by some of the bad reviews. My wife & I have been coming to Jonesy's for several years, and the food has always been top notch. Also, we have never had a bad experience with service. Servers have always been quite friendly, while also being very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions we may have. Our Anniversary is the most important day of the year for us, and we celebrate it every year at Jonesy's. Even last year, when I called to make a reservation, I was initially told they don't do reservations during burger week. Explained the situation, with it being our Anniversary, and they were more than happy to accommodate us and book us a reservation for our Anniversary dinner. We look forward to many more years of coming out to our favorite place.

4 stars just because it's a room for improvement during the weekend which i think they are under-staffed...but the waiting time was well compensated with awesome staff and a very nice atmosphere...we'll be back there for a meal whenever we go camping at bird's hill camping grounds

We enjoyed rib night it’s a great deal! Service was excellent! Food is really good. Had ribs, coleslaw and mashed potatoes with baked potato toppings. Small town bar atmosphere in the lounge which is where we were as it was packed.

Came for my birthday dinner on Tuesday evening. My friend and I both ordered the Whiskey Roadhouse Burger. He added a Poutine and I just had fries. When my friend bit into his burger he almost choked on a large piece of bone inside the burger Patty. He took another bite and discovered some more fragments of bone in the patty. Our server apologized and took it back to the kitchen informing her Manager. They brought out a new burger. That’s it. Never offered to discount his meal for the negative experience. Only made excuses for the Patty blaming the supplier. Won’t be going back

Smaller footprint with TONS of heart The interior is typical of small town diners, but a visit is well worth it for the food. Prices are very reasonable, and the entrees are awesome. My wife says the chicken burger was the absolute best she's ever eaten. Hadn't been in twenty years, but I am going to make it a regular stop
