Just purchased a second hand vehicle from there on Tuesday March 14. Salesman Todd was great they where putting a new handle on it because Chrome was coming off of the old one. Went up today to ask a question Todd was in a meeting lucky me I ended up with Shane. Who was very rude and disrespectful to me still didn't get my question answered. When you take vehicles in on a trade in you should know the history of the vehicle plus maintenance that was done on vehicle. Had to call Ron MacGillivray in Antigonish who by the way went out of their way to answer questions for me even thou the vehicle wasn't purchased there. So would I purchase another vehicle at Hydundai in Port Hawkesbury the answer is no.

The Staff at Gateway are wonderful and provide excellent service. I don't own a Hyundai, had my daughter's car in for service, however, my next car will be a Hyundai based upon Gateway's premium service.

They are the best crew around. We were attempting to make our way home to Moncton yesterday when out tuscon decided to take a nap" and go into limp mode. After getting it towed in (Murvin's towing for the win) they had it seen same day and back in our possession

I just walked in off the street and Shane was there to answer my questions and ensure I had all the tools to make an informed decision. All this without feeling pressured.

The entire staff pitched in to help me replace my vehicle, on very short notice. From facilitating a trade-in to contacting my insurance rep to get my coverage updated same day. Looking forward to dealing with this team in the future.

I would like to say that my experiences at Gateway Hyundai had to be the most enjoyable and respectful I have ever encountered at any dealership in my life . I dealt with two of most professional people I have ever encountered while purchasing a car . Friendly and caring sales people make the entire process so relaxing and so enjoyable . I have always cringed at the thought of buying a new car but this experience completely change my ideas on what the sales process can be like with true professionals . Before this purchase , I had some of the worst experiences I have ever had with very unprofessional sales people . They certainly did nothing for the good name of sales people . I am 76 and who knows , this could be my last purchase and I am so pleased that it was a memorable experience .

I would like to share my experience with Gateway Hyndai. They have been very cooperative throughout the entire process to get my vehicle ever since before shipping. I got my new Elantra Preferred 2023 yesterday from them within 1 month waiting period. And it’s almost important to get a new car shipped within this short time nowadays anywhere in the market. Shane Matheson was my sales associate. He was very much kind & interactive. I would like to thank Gateway Hyndai and refer to all my friends and families in near future. They have got excellent service and customer relationships management.

This hidden spot will forever be my saving grace ... with a special shout out to Amy MacPherson !!! I called and explained my situation to her. She went to work on getting me in to get my car fixed, quick. I had a issue with my front end. So I made an appointment with a New Glasgow Hyundai, who gave me the clear saying it was my brakes needing to be serviced. I knew this wasn't right, but I'm not a mechanic. I drove it back to the city to get my brakes serviced. Where I was told it wasn't my brakes, it's a broken strut mount. Called NG Hyundai back, only to be met with a 2 week out appointment, and hostility. It's tire switch over season and no appointments in the city are available, but I have front end trouble. I call all over Nova Scotia to find someone who can help me. I get to Port Hawksbury Hyundai, a pleasant voice answered my panicked call. She fit me in, AND had the part on hand. It was a broken strut mount, and a bearing in my steering. It may have been a bit of a drive from the city, but it's beautiful and you get to meet Amy MacPherson, and know you're dealing with someone who actually cares. She's such an asset to Hyundai. Way to go Gateway Hyundai in Port Hawksbury, you have a gem working for you!!
