We chose Down to Earth to install a pool and landscape our backyard. Al came by, provided great ideas and guidance without trying to up-sell. His costs are reasonable and came in on target. Down to Earth Landscaping
Glad we made the call and choose Down to Earth Landscaping. Al and his team put in our pool this summer and did quite a bit of landscaping around our entire house. Al was always on time, returned calls promptly and kept checking in after the project was mostly complete. We were so happy with Al that we are asking him to do a couple more landscaping projects at our home. Our friends and neighbors were also impressed with the quality of workmanship. My husband and I highly recommend Al!!!

Al was in and out of our backyard in three weeks. He was the only pool guy that showed up, was on time every day, kept to his word and finished the job to the date of his deadline. I would highly recommend Down to Earth Landscaping to anyone looking for a pool or landscaping!

The owner made up a fake invoice and kept funds after our pool permit was rejected. Beware of this company! Potential scammer. I will report him to the ministry so he can't do this again.

BEWARE! Our experience with Al and his team started off well while building our inground swimming pool in summer 2020. We didn't mind cleaning up the mess left behind daily, sheltering his tools and bags of cement from the rain after they were left on site for weeks, dealing with him showing up unannounced for 1/2 hour to do barely any work and then leaving again, over and over, making the project take way longer than expected. It was when he blocked our phone calls, and later freaked out because we were hesitant to pay him in full when the job wasn't completed yet.In the end, our pool was installed properly and we are enjoying it this year. It was just not a fun experience getting here.

Down to Earth Landscaping did a fantastic job installing our fiberglass, in ground pool. Down to Earth’s owner, Al Vissers, was responsive to our enquiries and was able to get the job started and fully done within 3 weeks. Al provided helpful advice and suggestions, making our project really pop. He was on site daily to ensure everything ran smoothly. The crew working on our pool and landscaping was professional, efficient and courteous – great to work with. Thanks to Al and the DTE crew of Ryan, Paul and Brandon for bringing our backyard back to life!

Whoever the foreman that i dealt with is extremely rude, the craned a pool over my property without permission, extremely unsafe conditions and also very vulgar younger workers, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY
