Start Bartending

This course has totally upped my hosting and entertaining game. I really wanted to get more creative and understand how to make great cocktails for my friends. Looking forward to drinks on the patio this summer, showing off my new skills.

As a restaurant manager I had a little bit of bartending knowledge already. On really busy nights I would assist the bartenders but I didn’t have enough experience to tend the bar on my own. Since business has slowed down a bit due to the pandemic I thought what a better time to learn a new skill so I can gain more confidence behind the bar. The video modules are really well done and the lessons were actually fun to do. Also because it’s online you can pause or start the lesson over to learn at your own pace which I really liked. I learned SO MUCH over these last few weeks! It’s been so fun to show my staff all of the drinks I can make. I definitely feel like I can tend the bar on my own now if we get really slammed or if one of our bartenders needs to take a night off. Also sometimes when it’s really busy I have serve tables and now my wine and cocktail knowledge is above and beyond what it was before. You definitely get your money’s worth with this course, would highly recommend.
