I had and amazing experience with the Beauty Academy in Ottawa! I took the Electrolysis course. My instructor was Miss Zeina and I also had Miss Mira for one day. They were both so knowledgeable! I felt 100% ready to practice Electrolysis after my week of training. Highly recommend the beauty Academy!

Poor Job done by a TeacherI arrived with a photo. I got my hair done by a teacher. She wanted to do a color correction, even her students told her she was off. She had no tact, she was trying to convince me that it was beautiful. I left with wet hair, the color was far from what I had asked for. I think the school doesn't have a colorist. Talking to a Former student ,friend of mine I realize that I'm not the first one to have this happen. The teacher has less skill than the students who may have natural talent.I regret the $169 it cost me.

In the short time that I have been attending this school I have learned so much. I've been taught in a fun and enjoyable way that makes me want to keep coming back for more lessons.The teachers and students are interesting and fun to be around; they create a comfortable experience in both schooling and conversation allowing me to be myself in every aspect.I'd recommend this school to anyone who wishes to learn in the cosmetoligist line of expertise.

Ms.Mira is the best instructor and the only one who's professional and skilled. I took the medical spa course. Ms mira is the most wonderful teacher, she really wants you to succeed. if you are considering taking this course, ask for Ms.Mira if she she's gonna be your instructor not anyone else.

I took the laser course and the teacher was very good. I learnt a lot about laser hair removal and got many opportunities to work on models. Having completed this course from this academy, I am now confident with the knowledge and skills I have developed and feel ready to start applying what I have learnt in the classroom into a work setting.

I graduated 2 weeks ago and Ms. Mira has been an outstanding instructor throughout the time i was at the school. She is calm, patient and professional in how she conducts herself while teaching. She is an excellent instructor, friendly and treats all students equally. I really love her and will miss her because she is a special individual.Most of all big thanks to a wonderful lady, the director of the school Mrs. Debbie, who supported me throughout the program.I highly recommend Ottawa Academy to any one interested in Medical Esthetics.
