Strut Salon

Strut is the salon I recommend to all my clients when they’re looking for cutting edge hair services. Every staff member is super talented and totally worth the wait, as they tend to be booked out for a while. I’ve most recently started seeing Brittni and she’s amazing! The vibe in the salon is always upbeat but not super loud which is nice. You won’t find a group of more talented stylists in the city.

My go-to! All the staff is kind and highly professional, the atmosphere and installations are extremely comfortable. Kaila has been the best! Not only stilling but also her attitude and the way she cares!

Absolutely loved my experience here. Michelle was phenomenal and really did a great job. I was part of a wedding party that Strut was doing and Michelle really worked with my hair wonderfully and I felt so beautiful! Everybody in the wedding party looked so beautiful that day! Kayla, my stylist here, agreed to cut my girlfriend’s hair for her birthday. She has never been happier with a haircut or gift. The colour, the cut, and the style were all beautiful, and perhaps more importantly exactly what she wanted.

I have been going to Strut Salon for over 15 years and the reason I am so loyal is due to the strong women who work there - these women are masters of their craft and I can only describe their work as perfection. They are not only stylists but advocates for fairness, community and inclusion. I have always felt the salon has my safety and best interest at heart in how they run their business. You are all truly the best!

Took me days to get a hold of someone over the phone, just to be told that they could answer me absolute nothing without an appointment. And the snooty girl on the phone reminded me how popular they were, insinuating any questions regarding their skills is absolutely laughable.No thanks.PS: Their reply just further proved my point. The distinct arrogance and the constant reminder of how great they were was precisely what turned me off. I guess it is the culture of the salon, the you should feel special to even get an appointment" attitude is definitely not what I am looking for doesn't matter how great they think they are. PPS: I called 5 times and left a msg. Finally got an answer on the sixth try. SO Make sure to budget some time to make an appointment."
