Very home style cooking. Not greasy at all but also a little bit plain in flavor, which is totally fine for us as it feels healthier :)The rava masala dosa was our favorite dish. Uttapam was decent too.

Literally one of the best South Indian places. I had the most authentic tasting chicken 65 for here. We tried dosai, podi idli, set dosai, chicken chettinadu. The service is quick!!! And the flavors are spot on! Friendly faces and delicious food!

Pro: Quick service, clean interior, freshly prepared, very reasonable price. Tasty food. Staff leave you to eat without asking questions time and time again.Was walking by and happened to spot the happy hour menu. I walked by because I was in a bad mood. A random customer exiting the store told me I should give it a try because the food is good.I turned around and went inside and I am sure glad I did. The sambar is the best I have had so far not watered down like a lot of places make it. The vada is proper authentic! The chai made my day! I will definitely return. On a random note the south Indian music videos they have playing are quite entertaining too.

Their apollo chicken is probably the best I’ve ever had, it’s crispy, spicy and very flavourful. We also tried their dosa and biryani, both are really good. Dosa is freshly made and crispy. Goat/lamb biryani are very tasty and tender also. Portion is very generous with really cheap prices. Owner was also super friendly and nice. You’ll never leave hungry from here.

Hands down, one of the best South Indian food I had in all of North America!! (May be a bit exaggerated, but why not). So, this is a small restaurant, if you are worried it might be crowded, give them a call and ask for a reservation (that’s what we did!). Also, it takes a bit of time for the food to be prepared, so be patient.We opted for the South Indian classics, idly vada, masala dosa, filter coffee and masala tea (not sure if this would classify as South Indian) and for the fun of it, potato samosas (reminded me of the good North Indian Chat). The food is served warm and with a lot of ‘maryada’ (could be loosely translated to respect in English). It was good, and to be honest, they have spoilt South Indian food for us anywhere else (until we find something on par or exceeds expectations). Thank you!The reason for this could be also that I’m a little too homesick (that always make someone biased). But as the other reviewers said, it not just me!So, if you want to try good South Indian food that intersects the taste of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Sri Lanka. Give this place a try. For a place that is a few thousand miles away from its roots, this could be called home!

Ate dinner at jj dosa and wow just loved the dosa and sambar. Kothu parotta was out of the world. Would definitely vouch for the authentic taste of dosa and sambar. The coriander seeds flavoured Sambar tempted me to drink it from the cup and yes I did it. Yummy food. Thank u jj dosa for providing us with yummy food.

The food was extraordinary. I don't understand why the place wasn't packed. We went for dinner. The flavors were subtle and unique. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. Generous servings and so affordable.I can hardly wait to go again.Only thing that keeps it from 5 stars across the board was they didn't have cold Kingfisher or any Tiger.

Amazing food, love their paneer dosa, and their kombakanum kapi (sorry for spelling errors), sambars fresh always, ive gone here morning as well as evening, fast service, prices are cheap and reasonable, their parotta (plain paratha), is light, flaky, and amazing, i often pick it up when i cook curry at home. Overall amazing restaurant.-a regular customer

A very tasty dosa indeed! The coconut chutney is to die for and the chai tea with milk is one of the best I have ever tasted…so so good! Service was very friendly and efficient! Prices are good! The chicken 65 was a little dry but sometimes that happens. We will be back!

My friends invited me to this place. I love dosa but it was my first time here. It didn’t disappoint. Small cozy place, very clean. The owner was very pleasant and served us well. The Apolo fish and butter chicken dosa is a must try. Loved the Rawa Masala dosa too. On a hot day with cool beers, it was prefect. The price is really awesome too. Will definitely go back again.
