I was there for 6 hours for full head blonde highlights and Melinda was really nice, kept me engaged and colored my hair beautifully.

I got two haircuts at Feathers from one of the owners. The first cut was not what I asked for, but foolishly I went back thinking we could get closer to what I wanted. It was a disaster and I was deeply embarrassed by my new appearance. I pretty much got a mullet, which was the worst haircut I’d had in decades. I had wanted my thick hair thinned out and softly layered, but it got chopped hard on top with long, thin strands left dangling around my neck. I had to get the whole thing recut into a much shorter style than I wanted just to look decent. (It was either that or wear a bag on my head.) Unfortunately, it will take me quite a while to get the length back. Obviously, I’m NEVER going back.

Horrible management and stylists. Don’t go here!My friend, who is mixed race black and white, went to the salon with a photo of the red hair she wanted. The stylist proceeded to not even bleach her hair before applying the wrong shade of red.As someone who’s been to school for hairstyling, it’s clear that you need to bleach dark hair to achieve the appropriate shade of red that she was wanting.My friend also had a big patch of hair that was missed, and her roots were much lighter than the rest of her hair.The stylist said my friend could come back to fix it. My friend left her children at 9am to head to the salon, only to be bombarded with the manager who told her that her hair is the colour she asked for (gaslighting), and the stylist told her that the colour was not achievable due to her skin colour. LOL.. what!? It’s 2022. The manager should know better than to say something so wrong to a black person.They then told her she would need to bleach her hair to get the colour she wanted. Well, exactly. Why did they not bleach it in the first place?Her hair looks so bad she has to wear a hat. She paid $200 dollars for this- plus a $50 tip. These people took her money and ran.Shame on you.

Super kind and helpful staff. I've not had the pleasure to get a haircut here but my truck did break down in front of their business. They were very understanding and helped me alot. One went out of her way to write a note for my dash, so I wouldn't get towed while parked overnight. Thank you so much!

I have been seeing Crystal since I was probably 10 (now 21) and she has always done such a great job. I’ve never left without an awesome haircut. I love Crystal and feathers and wouldn’t go anywhere else ❤️

These ladies understand hair! My daughter and I have thick curly long hair and before discovering Feathers we had trouble finding stylists who knew how to handle hair like ours. Look no further!
