I have no idea how they have 4.5 stars.... working with gas light has been the worst experience. The work they did resulted in two red tags by Fortis, due to them leaving gas leaks, they drilled multiple erroneous holes in our house cladding by accident" that they did not repair

We are extremely happy with the great service from Gaslight on heat pump installation at our home last week. They provided very professional advice at the very beginning on what kind of products we should install to keep the house warmer with reasonable cost. Their staff are very friendly and efficient. They cleaned up everywhere after they completed their work and showed us how to use the new heat pump in details very patiently. Besides, their customer service is above and beyond, she followed up and responded promptly whenever we had questions, she also helped us on greener home rebate application when we got problem in the middle. Gaslight has serviced our three free-standing Vermont Castings stoves for many years, always by courteous, prompt and efficient technicians. When one of the older units finally died, we had estimates from other companies for the sake of comparison. There WAS NO COMPARISON! Gordon's quote for the Vermont Intrepid model and colour we wanted, including remote control and other features and a tricky installation and custom-made surround was well below the nearest competitor's. This, along with our previous experience with Gaslight, gave us confidence in our decision.Jennifer then tracked down the scarce unit we wanted, and Jin and partner skillfully installed it. Similarly, the difficult finessing of the out-sourced surround, once it was ready, Jin and Tristan managed perfectly. I've just completed a gas furnace install process with Gaslight, and it has been a positive experience from beginning to end. Gordon the estimator was prompt and had his estimate prepared by days end. Les (40 yrs experience) and Jin came early on the install day and worked steadily to completion by 1:00 p.m. Jason, a sub-contractor, pumped and removed the tank/furnace during the same period What a well-oiled (gassed?) group, steered by Jennifer in admin. It was a bonus that that their quote was well below another estimator. Can definitely recommend this group to others.

Of all the groups we've worked with throughout our house renos, Gaslight has been far and away the best to work with.Jenn was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. At this point she feels like our general contractor, having helped schedule and re-schedule her team's work to accommodate all of our hiccups with other electrical work being delayed. And she's been so patient the whole time.Jin and Tristan have been the utmost pros in installing our heat pump and tankless water unit. They are thorough, speedy, and have been flexible in working with me to find the best locations for everything. It was great to work with this company and especially Jennifer. Our furnace broke and I was not sure what to look for and how to proceed. Jennifer spent lots of time explaining me what would have been best for our house, suggested to get multiple quotes for my piece of mind and sent a person for a quote ASAP knowing we where without heating. I chose them and they were few days later in installing our new furnace. A clean and quick job! And bonus, Jenn also helped me submit my rebate claim to Forted BC! Great experience and really nice people to work with!

Had a Heat Pump and Mini-Split Heat Pump installed. Quote was very competitive and installation was very smooth. Out of all the companies I asked for quotes Gaslight were the most knowledgeable and helpful. They were even able to help me understand how to control my water heater. Would recommend. In general, all the Gaslight people I have come in contact with have been great from the first quote to the final installation.

We recently had a new mini split heat pump installed by Gaslight. From the start Gordon was very helpful and came to our place twice to recommend a unit that would be suitable for our place. Then Jenn was very helpful with additional info as well as details on getting the government grant. Both Owen and Shun were awesome with the install and cleaning up after each unit was installed. Thank you Gaslight for a job well done.

Gaslight installed our new gas tankless water heater and gas furnace over a 2 day period. We were very impressed. Everyone we dealt with was knowledgeable, professional and friendly -- Jenn, Gordon, Jin, Tristan. We had never seen anyone work as hard as Tristan and Jin, while always being kind and polite and calm no matter what puzzle they encountered. On the second day, Jin worked 11 hours straight with only a short lunch break. He must have been exhausted but he cleaned up thoroughly, and then he patiently and kindly explained the operation and maintenance requirements of the new water heater and furnace. The installation of the new furnace is much better than the way the old one was installed. We are pleased with the results and would recommend Gaslight in a heartbeat.
