I love getting this quality hormones free meat for an affordable price! They are so helpful packing my pre-order pickups!

I have to give it 2 stars instead of 5.I'm editing my rating because of poor customer service including today as we came at closing time.I'm hoping to find a new place for my parents to buy product, as this not pleasant experience seems to be a trend now...

Great place for chicken products. Friendly staff. Food is really fresh and prices are reasonable.

Hilltop has high quality products at decent prices. Our favourite items are chicken wings, thighs and honey garlic pepperettes. We go a few times a year and stock up our freezers! We are always happy to support a local farmers!

Was sold a rotten goose!!!I thought this would be a quick and easy transaction: pay for and pick up the fresh goose I had ordered by phone. I could not have been more wrong!When I got home, I noticed a foul smell coming from the bag. Opened it up to see a goose turning slightly green and it was then I noticed its tag. Processed on Dec. 6 and never frozen. I picked up the bird on Dec. 20! They sold me a goose that was 14 days in the fridge. Even I know you shouldn't keep raw poultry in the fridge for more than 2 maaaaybe 3 days in the fridge without freezing. You would think that a poultry farm would know better! Returned immediately and the staff was condescending and bordeline rude, said they needed the boss to okay the return. (A return of putrid meat that was sold 15 minutes ago).Staff never even apologized. I am appalled by the way this was handled. Most other places (nearby farms and butchers) were already sold out of goose so instead of running the risk of having to change my Christmas dinner plans, I exchanged the rotten goose for a frozen one. Unbelievably disappointing experience, particularly because my phone call to the farm to order the goose was so pleasant.

We just moved to Kitchener and bought a fresh turkey from Hilltop for first time. Totally worth it. It was the best turkey we've ever had for Christmas. Will definitely buy next turkey here.

Fantastic local polutry butcher, excellent local choice. Located along a scenery drive while still in town. This has been a source for chicken and turkey products for many years. Always great quality and friendly staff. A friendly place with many other farm fresh products from local vendors.

It was our first time buying our Christmas turkey at Hilltop. Ordering was easy and the pickup was efficient and very friendly. Staff were lovely despite being very busy. The turkey was delicious! I’ll be back!
