Gilridge Golf Club

Found out it is not begginer friendly. Me and my family I haven't seen for more then 3 years, I wanted to have some fun and teach them how to play the game, it was ruined by the staff and members complaining that we are slow (even though we gave a pass to every player we have seen). Apperently you suppose to finish the course in an hour and 30min? - nowhere to be mentioned. I did let the staff know that we are newbies in my call in to schedule the tee time. Regardless it was unprofessional and felt very rushed. They asked us to play separately at some point even though they allowed us to play together and we tried it, it wasn't helpful splitting to hurry things and they allowed other groups to play together regardless. I had family members that stopped playing to be polite and speed things up which of course cannot be fun, staff wasn't cooperative for partial refunds. Spent +200$ to ruin the fun and union of the family. The members were polite but apperently the workers got complaints about us playing as 5, and setting people back. So if you actually want to take your time, enjoy and don't want to be rushed, choose a different course. I am very unlikely to go back.We were shocked by the passive aggressiveness of the members (as I said, we allowed every player to play before us as soon as we were able to).

Not the fanciest course, but the owner is a sweetheart and they have beer so that's great! A nice course 9 hole course for the price!!

Play it every week with my parent. Pretty nice course. Good place for newer golfers in particular.

Great day on the course. First time out this year. Spring conditions. Leaves around and porta poddies not out yet. Surprisingly dry.

We are just starting to play golf and Gilridge is a very nice course for us. It has a very relaxed feel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The other golfers are friendly and supportive. I could not be happier with my experience there.

Good course, short and narrow fair ways. Didn't use a driver the whole game

Good little 9 hole course with tight, tree lined fairways and small greens making it a challenging course.

Great 9 hole course. Well kept and inexpensive. It's good for beginners but also offers some interesting doglegs to add a bit of challenge. I'd definitely go back.

Usually a great course but randomly closed ridiculously early just now, and didn’t call to cancel our tee time.. We booked 9 at another local course though only 10km or so away.
