I have been in business with 3% Realty Fort McMurray for 12 years. In 2009, during the crisis, I had to leave Fort McMurray, Alberta to Montreal, Quebec. I understand now how lucky I was at this time to come across Kathy Bowers and her staff to manage my house on my behalf. Those 12 years have been an incredibly positive experience of collaboration, respect, and understanding. All the staff of this company has been incredible, always did their best to meet my demands and to find new tenants as soon as possible. They did their best to keep the house clean, and they keep me worry-free. I had full confidence in them, and they became almost a second family. For two or three times in those 12 years that I had some questions, Kathy Bowers, the manager, took care personally and reassure me with professionalism, humanity, and love. Do not sign a contract with this company. We listed with them, no meeting with the owners to discuss the highlights, data and details. Their website is a joke, you cant refine search. They pictures are childish - grass and the sky 60% the rest is the house - small and low quality and taken the worst time so it does not show the best of the property. No effort to re- take and upload better photos. Some photos distorted showing the island awkwardly small... (?); we asked to lower the price, price changed but no note as Just reduced" that would catch the buyers eye ( when you are in an advertising business this is a fail ); but they wanted to reduce drastically 20 G bellow the appraised value to sell. How does that work for the seller? The worst: We told Kathy - yeah I am talking about your action now Kathy - that we want to end the contract ( as you are able to with both parties agreed ) she DENIES is on the phone with her whining voice and demands explanation!!!! Then she holds you hostage buy NOT agreeing to end the contract! She is RUDE on the phone cuts me off - Never notices it - then I cut her off in return she is crying a river. I had to end the call hung up - I can't deal with someone who is that unprofessional. we sent her the written notice we want to end the contract she does not even reply. Now

Please don’t waste your time!We had hired 3%Realty for managing our rental property in FortMcMurray and the decision turned out to be a disaster! The team was not at all responsive to any kind of communication and didn’t provide professional service for the money they charge.Our last tenant left without paying their dues and 3% Realty Team showed no initiative to track him down to get more information. We had follow up for more than a year and till date we haven’t heard back from the 3% Team, not have we received our money.We never had such a terrible experience from any other rental management company before.

I just received a $45 check for my $699 damage deposit for a 1-bedroom unit we meticulously cleaned before vacating. The cleaning charge of 13 hours @40/hr for 2-person to clean a unit that's already cleaned was outrageous, and this kind of theft" is outright disgusting. I have the videos of the clean unit if required. I am very disappointed with the 3% realty company and their employees at this branch. Advice to others

Currently have 16 condos for TCR Pressure & Vac employees, with Kathy as my main point of contact. She has been nothing but EXCEPTIONAL to deal with, and has gone out of her way to take care of all issues and concerns from daylight to dark. Called because I wanted to list my town house. Brittany sent me a link on what other houses were selling for and i agreed that was fair. I had a bit more work to do on the house so i let her know id be ready to so a walk through about a week from the 7th of November. So we agreed she'd call on Sunday after her trip to Edmonton and touch base. Didn't get a call back, nothing! Its the 20th now and 14 days later no one has called. What a waste of time trying to list with these guys. I can only imagine them blowing off potential buyers in the same way.

Kathy is amazing. She took over managing my property from another company and the difference was night and day. She is knowledgeable, professional, yet very personable. I then enlisted her services as my realtor when I sold my property. Kathy ensured that she acted in my best interest as we worked through several deals as she was also contending with the horrible tenant she inherited. I have recommended Kathy’s services to others and will continue to do so. I think whoever has supposedly had a bad experience left their rating on the incorrect realtor’s site!
