Ugggg I'm so so sad I'm giving 3 stars!Breaking it down:Service: 5/5Atmosphere: 3/5Food: 2/5The service was awesome. Our server was great, super attentive, and just really nice. Plus it was super busy, and she made us feel welcome and she checked on us just the perfect amount of times.I'm sure as time goes on, the place will have a little bit more character but for right now it feels largely unfinished, on the east side of the pub anyway. We were sat in the middle-back, just in front of the bathroom. There are these long twinkly lights that go across from wall to wall. My dinner partner was sitting with his back to the twinkly lights, and as people kept coming and going from the bathroom, they'd get caught up in the twinkly lights, and then end up kind of either pushing them towards my pal, or they'd end up stumbling into my pal because they were discombobulated by the lights. I think next time I would opt to sit at the bar if there were free spots! We ordered the calamari to start, I think it's $15 maybe. I would definitely order it at happy hour when it was cheaper. We ended up with quite a lot of jalapeno peppers and sliced up red peppers, and very little calamari. The calamari was very chewy, and didn't feel quite cooked through. My friend ordered the lettuce wraps and they were excellent. I ordered the fish and chips. The piece of fish I got would be best described as mooshy on the inside. There were areas of the batter that were still a bit raw as well. I'm not sure what the technique is, but the texture of the fish was almost like it was boiled before it was deep fried. It was probably the worst fish I've ever had in a pub, I'm sad to say. I didn't send it back, because I thought maybe it would get better. But by the time I was partway through, it was not better. The coleslaw was barely dressed, it was what I would call dry cabbage and carrots with a light hint of flavour. My friend tried it all as well, and he was in agreement that it just wasn't great and that the fish especially wasn't right. He was super happy with his lettuce wraps! It was pretty busy, so maybe it was just bad luck today. It's a great spot, the beer was cold and the staff were so awesome, and it was really nice to see it bustling. I'm sure with time, all of the little bits and pieces will get ironed out. I look forward to checking this place out for brunch in the future.

Kelly our server was alone worth the ticket price. When we go out to an authentic Irish establishment I want a little bit of that true grit & sarcasm that the Irish are famous for. I do not know if he himself is Irish but it dosen't matter; the food was Irish and it was excellent. Well done and look forward to the next time!

Pretty solid food and drinks. The servers and service were fantastic and the live music was an unexpected nice touch. Would recommend a visit but careful without a reservation on a weekend.

Since it was a gorgeous day out yesterday, my boyfriend and I decided to enjoy some beer and snacks on their outdoor patio. We ordered the fish tacos and wings. Our food came out relatively quickly and our servers checked in on us several times to see how everything was/if we needed anything. There was just the right amount of batter on the fish tacos and I liked the guac and chips they had on the side. However, I would have liked more sauce on the tacos - perhaps something like a Chipotle mayo. We brought our dog with us and appreciated the bowl of ice water they had for her on such a hot day! I'm not sure if they have live music every Sunday, but that really contributed to the atmosphere.

We were greeted as soon as we came in. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Service was fairly quick. Tried the garlic fries, which the menu stated it was double fried. I assumed that meant it would be crispy. That was not the case. The fries were mushy. It did have roasted garlic and the taste was mild. The space is large and a lot of hard surfaces. That means it's very loud. Carrying on a conversation is difficult and forces you to speak louder and louder to be heard at your table. Which contributes to the overall noise level.

Very upbeat music and lovely staff! I got their double stacked chicken burger and I couldn't put it down. By far the best I've had, the crunch was good, chicken was well moist, and the bun on it was well toasted and soft. I also got their pork belly shareable and it's to die for! The flavoring is also available for the wings and they taste great with it too.My grandfather wouldn't stop raving about their fries too! Thick cut and well seasoned, I enjoyed every bite here.Congrats on opening and an amazing menu! So excited for brunch on Sundays!

A real Irish pub not those fake or pretenders like Sherlock Holmes. This is an actual Irish pub. The owner is from Ireland just outside of Dublin. Looking at the food I can feel the atmosphere of a pub in UK and Ireland. The food is excellent and really good. The pie was good. Pie crust was nice and flaky. Perfect amount of seasoning for the filling which is beef and some Guinness. Mash potatoes on top of the pie was creamy. Some other restaurants' mash potatoes has that vinegar or sour taste which I do not like but Ashford doesn't have the vinegar or sour taste. The cesar salad was good too. Nice crisp bacon on top. Creamy dressing.Servers and management were excellent. Though one thing I didn't notice was I was given wrong beer. I ordered hybrid but some reason the beer tasted like IPA with critus notes. But that should not detract nor deduce a score because it was my fault for not listening.I will come back hopefully soon as I want to try Sunday dinners. UK and Ireland Sunday dinners are specials as it is usually a roast dinner. Also I try their breakfast.----------Update: May 21, 2022.Still good pie. And the curry is not bad. But too bad roast dinner only on certain days

Came here after reading the good reviews. Good place to grab a bite for lunch. Ordered the reuben sandwich with a side of hash browns and was not disappointed. Tho the staff accidentally mixed up my order (served side salad instead!) Friendly staff, great music on the stereo, and clean bathrooms. Definitely worth a visit!

Went here on a friday evening, it wasn’t too busy when we arrived around 6pm. We didn’t realize you could have reservations, all tables were full but we were able to be seated at the bar. Bar tender was lovely! It did get busier, so im glad we got there at that time. The high ceilings are very nice, i was somewhat expecting more of an Irish pub feel. Nothing really screams Irish. Like i was expecting Ashford castle vibes. But all good.We ordered some drinks and a few appetizers to start. House bruschetta, crispy deviled eggs, pork belly bites. The bruschetta was ok, the crispy deviled eggs was a little bland, we really liked the pork belly bites it was delicious! The appetizers price per portion was acceptable. I was suspicious of my reuben sandwich as it was looking a little thin but i was wrong the reuben sandwich was great! Their house made corned beef and thickly sliced was delicious! My friends ordered the fish & chips and they said theirs was ok but they probably would skip it the next visit.Overall, being brand new, it was good, some improvement but I would go here again! The restaurant and area is wheelchair and mobility device accessible. The width in between the tables might be a little narrow so just be mindful of that.
