Malady Head Campground
Less densely packed than the main Terra Nova campground, which leads to (mostly) quieter nights and a bit more of a sense of isolation. If that's your bag, then you'll like these sites. Plus, closer to some nice sightseeing and eating around Eastport.

Stayed here for five nights. Beautiful location, campground less than half full in late July! Nice short hike up Malady Head close by. Good location for kayaking and hiking. Downside? The park, though less than 50% occupancy isn’t clean. The site we reserved had garbage on it. The comfort station isn’t cleaned regularly. 24 hours later I’m still seeing the same trash in the ladies room. These are minor inconveniences and we aren’t letting it dampen our spirits! Overall recommend but Parks Canada, you can do better.

Malady Head Campground
Some of the best tent camping on the island that we’ve experienced. Only downside was our site was small for our six-person tent. Potable water located throughout the campground, and clean convenience stations (with ample hot water). Can’t purchase firewood at the campground, so stop and pick up before arriving. We loved the generator-free loop. Overall, campground was quiet.

Malady Head Campground
My family and I stayed at the otentiks by the water in the summer of 2017. The accommodations are very nice but my wife did not appreciate the fact there wasn't a washroom in that location, instead she had to settle for an outhouse. Not such a big deal for me but that is a little unusual for a national park.

Highly recommend the otentiks. They have wood stoves but bring lots of wood with you. They are not well insulated.....being vinyl tents on decks and all......

Malady Head Campground
Spent a lovely night camping at Malady Head on our way across Newfoundland. The campsite we'd booked was too gravelly for my tent but there was no problem moving to a better site. (Loop B is probably the best for tents, loop C seemed to be more for camper vans and caravans). The staff were really helpful and the place was well set up with water nearby.

Great campground! Nice sites, our loop specified No Generators, making the ambiance very quiet and peaceful. The bathroom is quite nice with hot showers and hot water at the sinks. And the water was potable!

Very clean bathrooms and showers. Very family oriented and had lots of kids running around so may not be ideal for people looking for some quiet time.
