Unscrupulous, and do not honour agreed upon terms. They sneakily add conditions and hidden charges once they have possession of your belongings, with the confidence that you won’t try to take them back.Gladys is rude, condescending and talks over you from the very first interaction, doesn’t hear you out, and the service only gets worse - they act like they are doing you a favour by answering your questions when moving is already a very stressful process.Because they attempted to add hidden charges after taking my belongings, I paid extra to get a different local company to transport my belongings from Mundens to my final destination. As soon as I decided to do so, Munden’s changed their tone and decided to waive those hidden charges to secure my business again. But the damage was done, I did not trust them after they acted in such poor faith, and they lost my business. As they will many many more until they get their act together and realise that they need to treat their customers better.Their “premium insurance” is a cash grab with no insurance documentation whatsoever, the money just gets debited with no explanation of terms. The biggest joke is that they tried to triple charge me for the insurance by treating the move to their warehouse, the storage, and the move from storage to another city as three different moves! Ridiculous and unreasonable.They do a similar thing while pricing long distance moves if you need to use storage for your belongings during the move. Conveniently charge you for a “local move” to their warehouse, and then charge you for a long distance move from their warehouse to a different city, so essentially double charging you for one leg.The only pro in their favour is that the quality of packing and moving furniture is impeccable, as are their storage facilities. They do seem to know what they are doing. Unfortunately that’s not enough.

We finally found a moving company that we could trust. We moved probably more the 10 times with different ones. It’s super important to work with the right moving company! We never realized how many scammers exists out there! After making so many mistakes working with different companies we finally met Munden’s Moving with more then 40 years in the moving business! We are happy and glad we will work with them on our next move after so many mistakes in the past few years! Cheers Murilo

We just used Munden's to move us from Bedford to Wolfville, NS. We cannot say enough about the entire team at Munden's. From the time we requested a quote, made a reservation etc. all was very professional. The team that physically moved us : Calvin, Roger & Cameron were right on time, friendly, efficient and moved our possessions into our newly renovated home with the utmost care and respect. They were a delight to deal with and took the best care of moving everything including my 32 year old Ficus tree, Figgy"!This is the sixth time we have used Munden's moving service and we have also used them for storing our furniture for a 6 month period

Mundens Moving was great for our move from Ontario to Nova Scotia. The whole process was very smooth. Estimated costs were pretty much bang on. All our stuff arrived safe and sound and on time. Special shout out to Matt, Danielle and Mike who did three pick-ups in Ontario for us...and of course Matt was on the Nova Scotia end as well and somehow managed to move a cast iron tub out of our new home. Assuming you want movers because you’re hoping to save yourself time and money, I’d hire anyone else. This crew was slow, disrespectful, and careless. Including a photo of our broken TV - they didn’t wrap it in a blanket or secure it down in the truck A lot of our stuff sustained damage because they put all of their blankets around our one dresser, and that was the only effort they took to protect our belongings.

Called and spoke to someone who seemed interested in helping and was ready to book our move. I needed a little more information for them to confirm, when I called back I was asked to fill out a form online which I did and no one replied. I booked another moving company.

This is the first time I've ever hired a moving company. Having moved several times in the last several years, I've always just sucked it up and rented a U-Haul. Never again! The process was so fast and smooth. The movers themselves were efficient, professional, and friendly, and worked very well as a team. They took care to look after all of my furniture and appliances without damaging them, as moved everything expertly and quickly without damaging walls or floors. From the first initial quote all the way through to receiving my invoice, both movers and admin staff were helpful and friendly, and there were no surprise or hidden costs. Highly recommend Munden's Moving if you're looking to make the headache of moving less of a hassle!

Munden's helped me move from Halifax to Toronto. From the inquiry process all the way down to delivery everything was beyond excellent, and I rarely feel that way. Alisha was great in keeping me up to speed; Matt was exceptional in making the move so pleasant. This was the lowest price for the highest, exceptionally well service. Would recommend to anyone.
