Miller Compost

Absolutely disappointed and appalling customer service. Agree with Patrick and Cam, the lady (Shannon) on site should be relieved of her duties until she drastically changes her attitude for the better.Arrived 15 minutes before close time to buy mulch. We were told by the a lady (Shannon), that she would not serve us as they had closed an hour before close time. We told her we had driven over 45 minutes to get there, had a baby in the car and were recommended to come here. She didn't seem bothered, but was extremely rude. It's a shame one bad staff can ruin an experience for the whole company and it's customers.The gentleman at the yard was willing to help us but Shannon (obviously didn't care) and did not want the business, she also blatantly said, in front of the yard staff and another staff who was just a student (in her exact words - it's the head offices problem)We explained to Shannon that the company website mentioned the closing time to be 5pm. Shannon said it wasn't her problem and it's the problem of Miller's head office, she refused to help and said her job is not worth 4 bags of mulch. We were completely shocked at her appalling customer service and disrespectful behavior.We will not be going back here again and definitely will not be recommending this place to anyone.

Ordered delivery of soil to prep for sod which was delivered on the date I requested. Soil was clean of rocks and looked dark as if mixed with compost. Delivery truck was able to drop in my preferred tarped location on the driveway without issue. I would not hesitate to order again.

Originally my experience would of been a 1 star but after i expressed my concerns to Cheryl. She took care of me.Do NOT order the high soil blend if your building new raised bed gardens. The website says for vegetable gardens but it should only been used as an ammendment!Not to fill huge boxes of soil, nothing grows as the soil acts as a sponge and never dries out.The ultra soil looks like the product of choice when filling new beds.The website needs to be more accurate with uses and exact mixes and contents of the blends.

I ordered despite the poor customer service because the price was so much cheaper than competitors. I ordered the highest quality garden soil and was very dissapointed with the quality once it arrived. There were so many pieces of plastic in the soil, I'm constantly pulling out what looks like pieces of ripped plastic bags from the soil and now my garden. I will not order from them again.

Was not expecting to charged for deposing of yard waist. This was not a case in the past.....

Great place to get compost, soils, aggregates and such whether by load, cubic yard or by the bag. Service is pretty quick and the prices are pretty comparable to the big box stores, though I find the quality a bit better here.

I ordered some ultra soil on the phone yesterday, ready to fill my flower bed. The man on the line was very professional. It arrived just in time early this morning. The quality of the soil looks good. Almost no impurities. I use some on my lawn and it feels good too.

Great for years water drop off, but since they still compost, changing for years waste disposal may limit my return. Albeit, a trailer full of leaves was only $20.

Great place, friendly staff. Easy access all around for the public. Not too happy that there is a minimum $10 charge now, but that is life I guess

I brought a sample of mulch I had bought there the year before and asked which color it was so I could get more. They told me it was a darker color than it was(its hard to tell) I ended up using some of it and a few months later I wanted to exchange the two unopened bags for the right colour. They said the do not do returns, ever. I will not buy there again.
