Ordered the Peking duck. Heard it was excellent. It wasn’t. 2 courses. In the first the skin wasn’t not crispy as is de rigeur for Peking duck. It was soggy. A mortal sin. Phoned the restaurant the next day and left message for manager to let him/her know. Never received a call back.

First and last time coming here. Premium prices for sub adequate quality, and a comically rude and inattentive staff. Anything on Spadina is is a better bet than “Dynasty”.

Came here for dim sum since I've never been and we live pretty close by. Arrived around 10:30am on Sunday and was surprised that it wasn't crowded yet, no wait, plenty of empty spaces. The restaurant was nice, not over the top kind of decor, the staff were nice and prompt with ordering the food, bringing the food, and clearing the empty dishes.We were only 2 people and we had 7 dishes. Some of the classics and some different ones. The food is good too! Everything came piping hot. I thought the only let down was the Siu lung bao's (the soup dumplings) - tasted like just a regular pork dumplings with a bit of juice and the skin is pretty thick.But the other dumplings (Har gow, mushroom snow pea leaves dumplings) was very good. The skin was perfectly cooked and perfect consistency. You can tell when it's not overly thick, but also doesn't rip when you try to pick it up.Our favorite was definitely the fried shrimp rolls (so crispy), and the fried milk (my favorite) but both of those, definitely have when they first come one and they're super hot and crispy - don't let it sit and cool, it just isn't the same.Price is higher than if you were to go uptown or Chinatown, but I would still go back.

Wow!!! I love this place. I went there with friends from work to celebrate Thanksgiving. We had to seat outside due to the covid 19 restrictions but the patio was heated so we didn't feel the cold that much. We ordered the dim sum and there was so much to each. Each meal was so tasty. There was this custard baos that were delightful to eat. The staff were so nice to us as well considering the language barrier. Definitely, I would come back to this place. I recommend this place to anyone in Downtown Toronto who wants a high quality Chinese food.

They have such a premium price but the quality of food is not good. The staff did not even pay attention to us. We had to wait for a long time to get our water. We got there for dinner and we ordered dim sum. They did not bring us the soy sauce and red vinegar until we asked. We had to keep asking for sauces and it was hard to get their attention. It was $10 for 3-4 peaces of dim sum. The price is high but the service and quality of food is not equivalent.

This is as classy as you can get for Hong Kong/Cantonese fine-dining. No Chinese restaurant in town can match the quality and ambience of this restaurant.Had lobster, beef short ribs, crispy chicken, steamed fish, snow pea tips. It's hard to describe how much detail the chef puts in cooking the food to perfection. For example, the doneness of the beef short ribs is medium done. Never ate short ribs this tender before.Highly recommend this place if you want the best cantonese food in town.

Visited last Saturday, May 06 2023. There's a lot of people in the restaurant but no waiting in line as they have a huge seating capacity. We also didn't have reservation but they were able to accommodate us. We ordered dimsum, rice, and soup. Every dish is very delicious and you will not run out of options as they have a lot to offer. The place was clean, washroom is clean, staff are very accomodating and they serve your order pretty fast considering they have a lot of customers to attend to. Found a new Chinese restaurant that's very recommendable.

August 2020 we decided to visit them again. They lived up to our expectations in food quality and service. They had to conform to the C-19 guidelines and the experience was great for dine in service.In February 2020Group of 6 of us wanted to go out for dinner at Eataly Toronto which is around the corner. We were told that they can not accommodate a group of 6 so we decided to explore the area and it so happened that we went to Dynasty and we all loved it. The best Chinese restaurant the food was delicious the service was attentive and friendly. We plan on going tho the Dynasty again.

Everything was delicious. If we had to rate it, the steamed dishes were tastier and more interesting. Service was fast and efficient. Classy setting, almost trullo for lunch.

Food is overpriced and low quality. The lobster only tasted fried sauce coated. Steamed fish was tasteless and not fresh at all. Garlic pork ribs were over fried, but it’s the best out of the three dishes with meat. Price was over $200 for the four dishes, two desserts, and two bottle of sparkling water. Customer service is okay. The dining environment especially the glasses and utensils really need more cleaning.
