H&R Block

I came here to file my 2021 taxes and was suprised in February 2023, not having done my taxes yet, to recieve a notification from the CRA that my tax return was assessed. After calling it turned out that the staff member I had been to for my 2021 taxes filed someone else's 2022 taxes under my social security number.After over 6 weeks of calling the store, and coorporate to get the DM involved, they finally attempted to correct the mistake by filing my taxes. However, they didn't contact the CRA or figure out if anything else was needed to fix their mistake so my tax return was stopped because one had already been recieved under my SSNI am now going on my 12th week trying to get their mistake fixed.Update: I guess the buisness's response telling me to call the store to get the issue resolved is for appearance's sake. I've been calling and contacting them throughout this whole process and they have done absolutely nothing to resolve their error. Not only am I owed a tax return that I am still waiting on but they have me on the line for someone else's debt.

Such nice employees and very professional atmosphere. I always get my taxes from H&R block in the mall and it never disappoints me. I got my maximum money back with their help. I would definitely recommend everyone to go get their taxes done from them. Junita is an amazing employee and she is very helpful too. Great experience.

This review, is based purely on the professionalism, and the customer care of H and R. That is to say, it has absolutely none, whatsoever. I have been a customer there for four years in a row. I can safely say, with the rudeness and lack of patience, i had to experience this year, from the H and R staff, that i will never be going back. Please trust me when i say, that if you look a little further you will find much better. I understand the convenience of H and R, but it isn't worth it. it really, really isn't worth it. However if rudeness and neglect is what you're looking for , then look no further. H and R has an abundance of both.

The worst experience I had ever. I have been using HR block service since 2018 and they screwed up my tax filing 2021.They did not used my correct information, they forgot to add my all T’4. As a result of this I got re-assessed by CRA, got charged more than $1500 by as a penalty. When I contacted H&R block they were rude so I emailed no one responded to my email yet , I don’t recommend this centre - 2022/12/26 !!I did not get any responses from H& R block, ended up paying $1920 - 2023/01/12

The hours of operation are wrong, apparently they were updated by the business quite recently, but it’s still inaccurate. They’re also wrong if you call and get voicemail. Probably something that needs fixing.

They say “Trust our Tax Pros”. I did and they ended up putting me thousands of dollars behind. Be weary of this branch.

Worst service ever. The person was doing my filling didn’t even know about gst/ hst properly. She was just saying call the government. Then why the hell I am here if you can’t give me the basic information. She was just saying if I say that the charge will be more. Just wasted my money here.

We used H & R Block to do Our taxes. I have visited and called numerous times regarding My taxes. They are not returning My calls. I am very disappointed. It is also very stressful and affecting My well being.Lisa Marot

Not recommended. I will never go to this place again. Poor service but high price. Totally not worth it.
