Went to this place on Valentine’s Day. I reserved a seat for two about two weeks before. But when we went there, they sat us on a table of six near the kitchen. Very disappointing! That’s what we get even after reserving a table two weeks ahead? However, the server was nice. On request, she put us on a better table. So one extra ⭐️ just for that. Coming to the food…not up to the expectations. It was okayish and not worth the price definitely! (I had this restaurant saved in my list to go on special days. ) Not satisfied enough to go there again.

I adore this place with my whole heart. Every time I come here I always make new memories. The staffs are super chatty and always leave a smile on your face. The food is immaculate (the veggie options are so unique!). The drinks are also very special, as far as I’m concerned only they make such special variations of alcoholic coffees. They are pet friendly on the Terrasse which is a huge plus in the summer. On the inside, the bar and seats are a whole scenery. The dishes never fail to serve. It’s a great brunch place for the family or with a larger group of friends, totally recommend.

Went to the high tea that is only available during the weekends. We had to reserve at least one month in advance. The high tea spot is on the 2nd floor in a very cute room, where you forget that you're even in a pub.The tea selection is quite limited but it has at least the classics and very aromatic ones. The tea sets are very cute. The food is diverse:Macaroons: legitimate and good. Pairs well with the teaLemon tart: I personally don't find that it pairs well with the chocolate icing on top, quite dry. But my friend liked it, so it's really subjective.Brownies: the more appropriate name would be fudge cubes. Very sweet, maybe a bit to sweet.Scones: Very good, moist enough, nice flavors.Egg/cheese tarts: I very much enjoyed this, just would have liked more filling. But each ingredient paired really well with each other.Finger sandwiches: Both with cream cheese, one had cucumbers and the other had mushrooms and red peppers. Very simple but I like it.Overall, I like my experience. I was full by the end of the tea session. Service was okaym there was only one person serving everybody, so it was hard to get sugar. They also don't offer mill/honey for the tea. Food-wise, I enjoyed the savory items and the scones. the rests is okay, only because I don't have a sweet tooth.

I ordered lamb shank with mashed potatoes, veggies, and coffee. The lamb shank was perfectly cooked, the mashed potatoes were average, and the vegetables were disappointingly limited to a few asparagus. I wish some salt or spice were added to the food. The coffee was of excellent quality and taste.

The food was overall really good and the cocktails were boozy. Absolutely, loved the scotch egg. The bangers & mash were flavourful, however the fish and chips were good but not the best in mtl. The service was pretty slow tho. Still, a good place.

If you're looking for a cozy spot to relax and catch up with friends, look no further than the Burgundy Lion. From the moment you walk in the door, you're transported to another time and place. The dim lighting and warm atmosphere make you feel right at home. And if you're a fan of traditional English fare, you won't be disappointed. The fish and chips are a standout, and the shepherd's pie is hearty and flavorful. But what really sets this place apart is the exceptional service. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations. Whether you're in the mood for a quiet pint or a rowdier night out, the Burgundy Lion is the perfect spot.

A very typical casual pub. Surprisingly, they do have a very good cocktails menu and the food menu isn't bad at all. A great place to hang out with friends or family. And they do have a lot of choices of beers. They do have a terrasse during summer. You could enjoy your drinks under the sun. The pub is quite big too, they have two floors ( probably it could be seated for more than 100 people). The staffs are very friendly and nice. This pub is located on a very busy street Notre Dame. You could definitely walk around during summer around this cute neighborhood.

We went on a Monday night and place was still jam packed, tried a few cocktails and some tequila shots.Food was really really tasty, being a vegetarian it’s hard to find options and they definitely had good options with amazing taste. Bit pricey than usual but worth it. I would love to go back.

What a place. I was shocked with their scotch collection and that they had my favorite Japanese. I had the Angus burger which was good. I have had better but this was still very good for a pub. We did have a set menu and their caramel dessert was excellent. Great service too.

Nice pub in Little Burgundy, Montreal. Very close to Lionel-Grouix Metro station- about a 5 minute walk. This is a very nice area of town.. close to many trendy restaurants. I opted to try the fish & chips as this seemed like a very popular item on the menu. The fish was very well seasoned, as were the fries! I would have liked the fish being a little more crispy, but it was still enjoyable and tasty. I really enjoyed the mushy peas- it reminded me a lot of visiting the UK & having fish and chips. I sat at the bar, but it seemed as if the outdoors seating area/terrace was much more lively. I really like that they have multiple outdoors seating areas.
