Beautiful location and a great season of performances! This company also offers a series of free events - music, dance, and performance during the afternoons. Limited seating, so make sure to arrive at least thirty minutes in advance. Very enjoyable experience and professional quality. Excited to return to multiple events at this breathtaking venue.

I love this space and location of them four seasons performance center. The Canadian Opera company always puts one of the best operas. If you're not enough just go inside to see the modern wood layout of the interior of the building.

Racist organization. I was watching Macbeth the opera and I took at picture after the show was over during the applause time. A staff came over to me and told me to delete the photo as photos are not permitted. I attend shows at the coc regularly and this is the first time I was told so. Nonetheless I deleted the photo. Then the staff proceeded to tell me to delete the photo from cache as well. I told her I don’t know how to do that and why she’s only telling me to delete the photo when the white man sitting directly in front of me was still taking photos as we speak. She proceeded to say she needs to open the door and ran away. Meanwhile the door did not open for another five minutes. I think she was not expecting me to succumb to her double standards and threats.

I went with my work colleagues to see a free concert hosted at the venue. I liked the airy atmosphere with adequate seating space. The reception team were very courteous and willing to share info on all the happenings scheduled.

The orchestra is top notch. The singing is amazing. This opera house stacks up well against European venues. We saw productions of Flying Dutchman and Tosca. Tosca was perfect in every way. FD had excellent singing and music, but strayed from the visuals you would expect.

Came for opening night of MacBeth, it was everything I hoped it would be! Stellar performances by all cast members. I was surprised the lead female didn't get quite as loud of an applause as the male lead as they were equally astonishing with their magnificent voices! But that is more about our culture and less about this company. I loved that the focus was on the orchestra and their voices and less about the stage set up. Simple yet exquisite. The general manager and all staff were so pleasant and helpful, they helped make a great night even better!I will return for another excellent experience of the Arts and Entertainment offered by the COC. ... oh and I should add, as a plus size woman, I was impressed that my box seat was comfortable!

Absolutely loved the play Tosca! The main actress that played Tosca was amazing! The young male minor actor that was running from the law had a truly remarkable voice! I wish I could have heard more from him! I definitely will return to this opera house again!Stage: The stage is tilted towards the audience very slightly, so that the audience can completely see the death scene. As a spectator, you don't realize that the actresses/actors are walking on a slight tilt, until that scene. They had English subtitles at the top of the stage so that the audience can understand the Italian words. It worked quite well.Orchestra: The orchestra was nestled below the stage and the audience, so you can only see them if you are in the first row possibly, if you are on the main floor.Dress: Some people dress casually and others quite formally.Food: They had sandwiches, drinks, and cookies at the venue. Tip: There is a Rexall right across the street with food and water.Seating: We sat in Row R seats 17&18, which were basically centered with the stage. We could see the performance very well.Ticket cost: $185/ticket.Washrooms: They had a long lineup, but we were always on time for the next scene as long as we immediately got in line at the break. They had wheelchair accessible washrooms.

Been a few times now. Always have the best of times. They have some great shows. Nice excuse to dress up and have a fancy drink. If you haven't been I would strongly suggest!

We watched the performance of the opera camp for children up to age 8, and were thoroughly impressed with the performance and its leadership, Murray
