Big Leaf Pond

Was eating my delicious smoke salmon and water cress salad with honey Dijon dressing on the bench here at big leaf pond and noticed a little birdy. The bird looked at me and I looked back. I think the birdy was hungry and wanted some of my salad. I was wrong. The little birdy just wanted to be in the company of another living being. So i stayed at the pond a little longer and contemplated the deep meaning of existence with this new friend of mine. I really enjoyed my encounter with my new friend and I will be back tomorrow to do this all over again. I hope that the same birdy will be there. Or if you happen to read this little birdy its me. your friend at big leaf pond.

Shaped like a leaf & lit up at night, this cute find sits in a small park beside La Tarrazza Restaurant, and provides a walk thru from Expo Blvd to Beatty St.
