Running Room

I'll be coming back because of the honesty and integrity of the sales staff. I was served by an older gentlemen, looking for a pair of runners that can perform on ice and snow, while also dealing with wide feet. It's a tough ask, I know. The gentlemen at the store walked me through all the options, answered all my questions and clearly knew what he was talking about. Tried on a few options that didn't work. He searched the online inventory and when he couldn't find anything, he provided me with valuable options elsewhere. Ultimately I didn't buy a pair of runners this time, but come spring, I will be going back.

I've been running here for over 12 years. Regularly run here on Sundays and Wednesdays for their run groups. Prices are reasonably competitive but even if they are a bit more, the value of what they give you back in support of running and opening their store for you to use for your runs is worth it. They go above and beyond to support their running customers. Knowledge and helpful service is always available. If they don't have it, they are very happy to order it for you and it arrives fast. And best of all, they support beginners all the way to Boston marathoners. Very inclusive.

So lucky to have this store in my neighbourhood! They are the most patient and diligent running experts who will not scrimp on time and effort in fitting you with the perfect running shoe. Thank you!

Went to the Running Room for the first time today and had an exceptional experience. The staff took time to listen to my concerns and were very knowledgeable about running shoes. They weren’t just trying to sell you shoes but made sure the ones you get are the right ones for you. Definitely better than the average shoe store.

Shopping experience was excellent. Salesperson took time to listen. She was very knowledgeable and helpful with her advice. I didn't feel like she was rushing me out the door. They had a wide range of running shoes. My wife recently had an Achilles tendon tear injury, therefore needed the correct shoe. The sales person was able to relate and gave us some very good options. I would definitely 100% recommend this store.

We were travelling through Toronto Airport on a long layover - there was time to go over equipment and race plan for upcoming Marathon Worlds Canoe Kayak competition in Portugal we were headed to. OH NO! The Maltodextrin / electrolyte fuel had been forgotten! Big problem!So began the frantic search. How to get the fuel in Canada before our international next flight, as it wouldn’t be available in Portugal and it was absolutely necessary for the race.Enter Elizabeth at this Running Room location to save the day. She helped me how to figure out payment (they don’t take credit cards over the phone) and then how to hire an Uber driver to get it to delivered right to the door of the airport. She packed up the fuel in a sealed way to make sure it met with the Uber rules (I had no idea Uber picked up and delivered packages) and delivered it to the driver. I had it in my hands within the hour. Amazing.This was not a big purchase for the store (under 30 dollars). But Elizabeth went above and beyond to solve a meaningful problem for us, people she didn’t know and who wouldn’t be back. What a class act. Good job Running Room for having such an excellent employee and most of all, Thankyou Elizabeth!

Great experience today. There was only one employee for a bit and she handled the rush fine and still took the time to help me find a new pair of shoes. I would recommend this location based on the excellent customer service and stock.
