Marie Curtis Dog Park
Small but friendly crowd in a moderately sized park. Not much shade or seating (unless you don't mind sitting on peed-on stones) and the fence is low enough for many medium to large dogs to jump over. Next to the much larger Arsenal Grounds which occasionally sees the off-leash dog or two on its trails.

Lovely park and beach with beautiful trails and a perfect blend of foliage and water.. Can't believe this little area of nature is just outside the downtown core. A must visit for sure..

Great space. There's a fenced in leash free area. Better for small dogs as the fences are extremely low and therefore easy to hop for bigger or more active dogs.Beside the fenced in area there's a huge piece of land that makes for a great walk around with the dogs as it is also fully fenced in on the lakeshore part.Little random paths to go off too. Avoid it at night though BC there definately are coyotes.

Marie Curtis Dog Park
It's a medium-sized dog park. Unfortunately it uses pea gravel and it hurts my dog's paw. The temperature it's a but hot today so we didn't spend more than 5 minutes here. Also no water fountain on sight at all, being your own water bottles. No one's here probably because of the reasons I mentioned. Just pro tips, there's an entrance not far from the beach so you don't have to drive all the way from Island Rd.

Marie Curtis Dog Park
Proper sized dog park with parking right next to it. The park has two entrances on both outer ends, so it isn't super easy to keep your eye on which doggies are entering the park. The other dog owners I met were kind and their dogs were well-behaved. The things I did not like: fence is rather low so any dog from up to 50cm could jump it. The surface is gravel which can get in your dog eyes and mouth if you're throwing ball.

Nice compact dog park with pea gravel and big rocks. Wish the fence was taller and there was a water fountain.

Nice off leash area, but not that big. Lots of great area for on leash walk. Good spot. The wild area just west of the official off leash area has lots of folks supervising dogs who are enjoying that area ;-)

Not my fave dog park. It was pretty muddy so they dumped what looks to be a half foot deep of kitty litter. It gets in your shoes and a bit hard to walk on. The fences around it are also quite low. The big dogs hop on over them. It's nothing too special. I like to walk laps all around so this is not the most ideal dog park for that. But people are friendly so it gets points for that.

Marie Curtis Dog Park
Great park for medium sized dogs. If you're worried about your dog running off, small dogs can crawl out under the fence and large dogs can jump over. Has a bit of a tropical feel with sand, boulders, and large greenery all around. Beachy sand was recently replaced with a bit coarser sand so isn't so conducive to sandals and hurts wher a pack of dogs run past you kicking it up. Sunsets are awesome here.
