Yesterday I went there first time, ordered mysore masala dosa and chilli cheese onion masala dosa, both were well cooked,tasty and its not too spicy if you would order spicy one. Also ambience is good. The staff was very polite to us. Must try restro.I am attaching a video of updated menu.

Really impressed with the food and service! I got the paper masala dosa and it was so delicious! This will be my go to spot for dosas! The chili chicken is also very good. Can’t wait to return and try more dishes!

The food is so good here! That the moment I tried it I thought of all the people I wanted to bring to the restaurant! The dosas are perfect combination of textures! they have so many dosa options that I actually don't know which ones I tried, I just went with their recommendation and so far it has always been delicious! On weeknight they also have great specials with fun drinks/ mocktails!I guess be prepared for the spice if you get anything spicy or perhaps I'm just weak lolll

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mahal Tanjore restaurant that offered an authentic Tamil taste, and I must say that it was a delightful experience. The service was excellent, and the restaurant itself was very clean, making for a comfortable dining atmosphere.My dining companion and I opted for the masala dosa and chicken kothu, and we were not disappointed. Both dishes were packed with flavor and were an excellent representation of the authentic Tamil taste we were promised. Additionally, we were able to wash down our meals with some delicious filter coffee, which only added to the overall experience.The only negative aspect of our meal was the waiting time for our food to arrive. However, this was a small inconvenience in light of the overall dining experience we had.Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Tamil cuisine. The delicious food, excellent service, and clean environment make it a must-try for anyone in the area.

Can't say enough good things about this place! From the shrimp to the fish curry, everything was amazing!! Also, the coffee at the end was one of the best coffees I've ever had. They also had deals on appetizers and drinks which was nice. Will definitely be going back!

As the name suggest this is actually anuthentic South India restaurant. Place has got a lot of options to choose from. Sambar was the star of the night. We ordered Paper Ghee Masala Dosa, Vegetable biryani , Diet-coke and regular coke. They have many options in drinks as well. The best part is its open till 11 pm and they take orders till 10:30 pm.

Best Biriyani in Ottawa! Authentic Indian flavours in each bite. Will definitely be back. There summer drink menu is amazing and super cheap! 5 dollar drink deals :)

Everything was perfect. I was helped right away and my food came quick. The quantity and quality was amazing. Went to the bathroom and came back and my drink and a cup of water with a plate and utensils were set where I was sitting and not long afterwards I was given my food. I ordered Pani Puri. Perfect presentation and perfect flavouring as well as the service. Loved coming here.

I had dinner with a friend here while visiting Ottawa, and I can see why it is one of my friend's favourite restaurants! The food was incredible, well priced, and the service was fantastic. I love that you can eat indoors or on the patio. This is very much a family friendly restaurant, so be prepared for kids playing and a louder atmosphere.The staff are really helpful for navigating dietary restrictions, and there are plenty of fantastic vegetarian and vegan options for every pallette.
